I didn't remember him as a Gruden guy, I guess M.I.T. Beaver was so loud and proud with that stuff that he covered up alot of others.
I remember wanting several rumors he touted on here to be true...none were iirc. Not buying that anyone on this staff leaks something so substantial to a message board blabbermouth. Hope I'm NOT wrong. ;)

My favorite sad postmenapausal grandmother with the nonsense. Im hiring Gruden now.
Speaking of nonsense, that's the clearest statement you've made today.

If I post something it’s from a primary source— in this case a coach. That’s how baseless it is. Gomer and the Easter Egg see open segments of practice. The coaches see all of it. They’re concerned. Hopefully Cooper will be healthy and we’ll improve. If not, we’ll struggle. I obviously trust our staff to make the best of things. Just sharing when I hear something.
I know you’ve been pretty reliable in the past, this post just made it seem like the sky is falling.

I’m not chicken little, and I believe in Ellarbee, but according to friends on the staff our OL is getting blown up by our DL regularly. This is purely a talent problem. The older guys are nowhere near Carvin, much less Wright. The young guys aren’t strong enough yet. Of course some of this is improvement in DL talent and depth, but we’re not the best DL in our league by any stretch. We are having serious problems blocking inside runs and the backside of the QB. Mays has been pretty fragile for months and has missed a lot of practice. His healthy return is essential if we want to do well at n conference. We all better hope that we can get healthy and gel before we head to Florida.

Good to know you’re voicing concern from a primary source and not just based on Finger’s summary as I initially concluded. That moved me from a 1 to a 3 in terms of concern out of 10. I appreciate people who bring genuine info so thanks. Still not hitting panic button but maybe I would if I had been in the conversation you were in idk

I watched the VQ two minute drill drill from the second scrimmage and they stated offense had their way compared to 1st scrimmage. They didn’t sound alarmed at all.
This is a good point.

OP: When did your friends say this about the OL? Was this early in camp or since the 2nd scrimmage that they reported the OL looked bad?

the disaster of 2021 recruiting class (in the middle of NCAA violations being disclosed and coaching change) and scholarship restrictions in 2022 is showing up on the OL.

Maybe they are the best d-line in the conference.
