We absolutely have to have something to stress out over at the start of the season. BVS is still WAYYYYY to commonplace amongst this board.

I’d like to see Davis moved inside. Sounds like Karic has been a bust, but Nichols has improved some.

This is exactly what I was thinking. "A Coach" is going to tell "someone" that his current starting guard for UT is not SEC caliber as a senior? I'm very skeptical of that personally. JMO

You have never got drunk and talked about work with your buddies and talk about the idiot down the hall that messed up this important paperwork that could get the company in trouble.

Or coached and talked about how a kid is soft or something.

It happens all the time. We are not talking nuclear launch codes we are talking football.

Don’t need a coach to leak info to figure if your starting C has had a “ procedure “ 3 weeks before the season starts and a backup OL at best may be starting at guard or center… that that is a cause for great concern. Oh and also just lost the 12 th pick in the draft and a 4 year starter. All on the OL

And we're Dooley/Jones/Pruitt level at identifying and developing OL currently? Were you hoping we'd sign Wright and Carvin to ten year contracts?



And Wright was the 10th pick...why'd you dock him two picks?

I think people are forgetting to that we are returning the 3rd best DL from a rush yardage standpoint from last year with much improved depth.

Getting Mays back healthy will help a lot

I don't have a dog in this fight but if you follow this forum, you know Stoerner Fumbles has had good information over the years which he has shared. I don't doubt that a coach talking amongst his friends shared that they are looking for some answers at different spots on the line.

Thankfully we have a couple of cupcakes before the real season starts.

Remember a single ONE of them? I cannot. Had faith in whatever he "shared" once upon a time, don't remember any of them coming to fruit. Commits? Coaching hires? MetalVolunteer, GFW back in the day amongst others I'll vouch for. Course none of the ones I put stock in ever ratted out their "source" for message board cred...so maybe it's style points.

I listened to 2 different podcasts yesterday and both brought up some concerns they are hearing about in the interior O line. BTW this was after several people told me I was incorrect or misinformed yesterday about the same conversation. Maybe there is something to it. We still have time to get it corrected if necessary. Maybe our d line is playing well too.

This is exactly why I'm not penciling in UGA and Bama as wins for us as easily as some are. The simple depth of talent on those teams could eat our OL's lunch and make it a very hard day. My prediction is 9-3 on the season, hopefully not an 8-4 (doubtful).
