SDV, you shouldnt have a problem jailbreaking....its quite simple. Just remember to make a backup of your current Os before you do it in case you screw up.....which is pretty hard to do.

Ok. My main concern is that I don't want to lose contacts and calendar entries, but I use iCloud so I should be fine

I havent used this new jailbreak app, I always used redSnow....but it should still be the same and I never lost any contacts or calendar entries.

I only real reason why I liked Android was because of the system toggles and the weather widget on the homescreen. Now I have them on my iPhone. So glad the A5 jailbreak finally came out.

I've got most of those. I recommend SiriToggle. You can use Siri to open apps, enable wifi, Bluetooth, etc. I put weather on my status bar so the widget wouldn't take up my lockscreen space. Of course ypu can do a theme with all that stuff. I also recommend 3G unrestrictor. Makes YouTube crystal clear & enables FaceTime over 3G & some other stuff. You can find a cracked version I'm sure.

I've thought about getting 3G Unrestrictor. I also wanna get MyWi. Do you have any sources you can share that has a cracked version of either? Don't really wanna spend $20 for the MyWi.

oh I didn't see the dates. Just figured Apple was throwing out a net and trying to see what they caught. No one really knows with them anyway

Seriously. is the Galaxy Nexus really the best phone available? Besides all of the bells and whistles, I need a phone with a decent/loud speakerphone. I have to use my speakerphone a lot.

I switched from the iPhone 4 to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus a few weeks ago. I like it ok but I'm still getting used to it.

My iPhone was not jailbroken.
