I'm assuming that means you have an AT&T iPhone 4S. If so, you've always had 4G, it's just that iOS wasn't programmed to show when you were on 4G until the 5.1 update, for some reason.
General question. I looked over the last few pages and didn't see anything ..
Is the iPhone making up some of the ground it lost to droid a few years ago? I guess the same rules apply as they did then. If you like a phone that you can hack/tweak/optimize, then the droid may be better for you. If you just want to use a phone that's set up for you, use iPhone.
How have your experiences been on iPhone using Verizon? tia.
Here is something I'm wondering that involves AT&T iPhone 4S owners with unlimited data. AT&T recently had the throttling debacle so went to a standard where 3G phones get throttled at 3gb but 4G phones get throttled at 5gb. Does this mean since the recent update that AT&T pushed to show 4G instead 3G on the 4S that it will be throttled at 5gb now?
I don't really think that had to do with it. Their servers/computers can tell that on their own. I think it was more of a marketing ploy to get people to buy an AT&T iPhone 4S in order to have "4G". Kinda stupid, but that's what I think.
