LOL.
Keep eating the line they are feeding you.
I didn't buy it for 4G I bought it because it was the best. 6mbs is plenty fast for me & should be for just about anybody. I guess you can use your data up faster on 4G is all I can see. Hspa+ or 4G lte who cares. 3G was fine by me. They can call it whatever they want.
I don't know anything that can be done on a droid that I can't do on my iPhone. I just don't have the gimmicky bigger screen. A 4" screen would be ok but over that & it's just a gimmick.

If someone likes the android better - its simple - they've never owned an iPhone - or Steve Jobs slept with thier mom and/or wife before he died.
Just out of curiosity, how big is your TV? Anything over 26" is gimmicky.
I think a horse is plenty fast, why would anyone need to go faster, thats just gimmicky.
I think both phones are great, but its like I tell people all the time, buy and use whichever phone suits your needs best. It just annoys me when people say "(insert phone) is the best phone on the market, hands down and its not even close".
You love your iPhone. You would have children with it if you could. We all get that. Cool. Can you just admit that other people have opinions and taste that differ from your own and that they can love their devices without stepping on your opinion of yours?
Your iPhone meets all your needs. Its the perfect phone/ fit for your lifestyle. Love it. Caress it. But you don't have to try and make everyone else have the same unhealthy love affair with the iPhone. Its OK. It doesn't take away from your iPhone if someone likes an android device better.
Lol. What a dumb post. I don't carry a tv in my pocket or a horse.1) It's not about getting a phone to suit your your needs. 2) Talk & text is all you need & any phone does that. 3) Long story short the iPhone does that & everything else better. 4) Hardware & software is better. 5) 1 or 2 droids compare simply 6) because they try to 1 up the iPhone after its release with 7) supposedly better specs. The other hundreds fall way short.
1) Actually, yes it is. Why would I get a phone that does NOT meet my needs?
2) So you know what I need? Are you trying to channel Steve Jobs or something?
3) So you're saying that I only need talk and text, but the iPhone does that AAAAAAND everything else - that I apparently don't need - better? That makes sense...lol:
4) I bet you liked Windows Vista didn't you?
5) 100% agree that there are more than a few Android devices that are cheaply made and do not compare. But there are definitely more than "1 or 2" Android devices that compare.
6) Isn't the point to continually improve your product in such a way that you retain (and create new) customers? You make it sound like a company should be looked down upon for trying to out-do a rival company. Do you understand how businesses are run?
7) You could have left out "supposedly". Better specs are better specs, nothing supposed about it.
I seriously don't get your disdain for anything not Apple branded. I'm not an Apple person, but I willingly admit they make some really great products, and would be very happy owning a few of them (I would love an iPad or a Macbook Air or Pro). You come across as the type that would rather fall into a pit of razor blades while covered in salt than admit someone other than Apple makes a decent product or has a good idea.
I don't have a brand agenda - if Apple came out with a more open OS that I could have the freedoms that I do with the Android OS, I would be very interested in giving it a shot. Same goes with the new Windows Phone. I think I would enjoy having that as my daily driver.
Just because Android is my favorite, that doesn't mean that there are no others. I can still appreciate and enjoy others. Why can't you?
You must be an extremely needy person. Not sure what your droid does my iphone cant. I can only assume your droid gives you a hand job. Mine only talks dirty to me.

"if you're willing to do the work to understand it a little bit, well I hate to say it, but there's more available in some ways."
"For that kind of person who is scared of complexity, well, here's a phone that is simple to use and does what you need it to do."
You said this:
I responded with this:
While I would definitely consider myself a power user, I was just trying to say that talk and text is NOT all that I need. My Android can do plenty that your iPhone can't:
- Alternate keyboard
- Widgets
- Custom launchers
- Removable battery
- Custom ROMs
- The ability to install a non market applications
- Flash
- True integration of Google services such as Google Voice and Google Maps/Navigation
- Ability to replace default app with 3rd party app
- Automation with Tasker
[forgive me if this list is inaccurate, iOS5 may have introduced some of these features]
