Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, resolution can also be better to some but not for others. Some people prefer plasma tv's some prefer LED, sorry you can't accept the answer on which phone for me has the better resolution.
All I can tell you is when I hold the 2 phones of which I do own the iphone 4s and the samsung G3 in my hands side by side with the same apps or website, the G3 looks cleaner and better to me.
I don't understand why someone would think that I am bad mouthing the iphone, heck it is company issued but I bought it because I wanted a 32gb not the free 8gb.
For me the best experience for surfing the web, playing games etc etc is with the Samsung. I could have easily bought an Iphone for personal use if I felt it was superior but for me it wasn't.
Iphone has better battery life than a DroidDroid will load and run flash on websites, Iphone won't
Both have tons of apps for download
Both can have email set up on them
It really comes down to what all you want your phone to do before you can decide which one is best for you.
For work, it is difficult to beat the battery life of a Blackberry, but BB has no wow factor

So Samsung got smacked down by a jury.

Do you think relying on a activist judge would be better?
I think not.
I would rather it be decided by at least an educated person/group of people. Only 3 of the jurors owned a smart phone yet they were deemed educated enough to rule on technical features of them. The jury awarded damages while simultaneously deciding there was no patent infringement. Apple is simply a patent troll

Every company, including Samsung, submits patents by the truck load. Its just a matter of who gets it there first. You should blame the patent system.
I would say wait until the new iPhone is revealed tomorrow but I'm guessing you're looking at spending $99.
