iPhone

When I turn my phone sideways, it goes split screen. Right side will be volnation, left side will have favorites, reading list, etc.

Any one else's phone doing this?

6s plus. Best phone ever imo. Wasn't sure if I'd like the size at first but I couldn't use anything smaller now.

Do you want a stylus? Are you an Apple user?

Bounced back and forth from Galaxy S to Iphone and currently have the Iphone 6. Not sure if I would use the stylus, more of a "hey I like new shiny things I will only use for a week". I don't use anything Apple other than phones (no MAC, no Ipad)

I'm Apple person so it would be an easy choice for me. Specs wise Samsung usually throws in somethings that on paper look better but iOS is optimized for the hardware so the performance difference not really noticeable to the average user. If you don't think you would get enough use from the stylus then iPhone is probably a good choice. However, you should probably just go with the OS you prefer.

Went with 6s plus and love it. Couldn't go back to anything else. If the 6s had the same features as the plus then maybe but the longer battery life, better camera and 1080p display makes it clearly the better option to me, specially if you're a taller guy with large hands like me.

So, the 6s Plus is not just a larger version of the 6s? I'm going to be making the jump from Droid and have been debating between 6s and Plus. If there are no differences but size, I'll go with the more compact. But if the Plus is superior...

The 6s plus has a better battery and has OIS

Ah, that's big for video. I appreciate it!

One other question which is probably available via this thread or a different one, but I'm going to be "that guy" and ask it anyway.

Background: My wife and I each have a smart phone - I have the LG G2 right now, she has the Droid Razr from the Derek Dooley era. She has a free upgrade, and she wants my G2, so I was going to use her free upgrade for the 6s Plus.

Everyone seems to be moving to this monthly payment thing. Based on what I can tell from the Verizon site, it seems that I'll basically be paying full retail for this phone over the course of the time I have it versus paying the $199, or whatever it is, out of pocket with the upgrade.

Question: Is there any advantage (besides no contract) with doing the payment? Will I still end up having to wait the full duration of a contract period (ensuring I pay full retail price for a phone I wont actually own) to upgrade even though there's no contract?

Thanks, VN phone experts! :hi:

Forgot about 4K video capture as well, I don't believe that the 6 or 6S has it and only the 6S Plus has it.....if that's your think.

I have used the edge plan (other than this Ipad) and I think its a really good deal. First off, it gets rid of a contract and you are basically financing the phone interest free. This gives you the option to pay off the phone at some point if you are wanting to upgrade or leave their service, so you really do actually own the phone. I have paid off two phones using this edge plan and love it. When you pay off that phone and get to upgrade, you can sell your old phone easily and get some of that money back. One other thing is that instead of that line access being 40 per line, it is 20 per line that is on this edge plan. It's pretty much a no brainer to switch to their edge plan. I am only talking about Verizon's because I have never used plans similar with other carriers.
