The Iranian Prez is dead. Though they blame foggy weather, and USA sanction on aviation parts, I'd not be surprised if MOSSAD had a hand in this. They are best spies and assassination organization in the world. Better than either the CIA or GRU.

I don't see any value in Israel killing this guy. What benefit does it have to Israel? If anything, it would be a negative that is pushing them closer to war with Iran. I am thinking this is an internal Iran thing.

They can blame US sanctions all they want, but maybe misallocating some of that $6 billion they got from the US administration should be brought up as well. Maybe they’d have reliable transportation for their President or capable pilots.

Well, we're both speculating, mine is as good as yours, and yours is as good as mine. And uh, as I phrased mine, I wouldn't be surprised if this is MOSSAD's work. Didn't say it was, just that it wouldn't surprise me if it proves to be.

Yeah, well, I think it obvious I don't harbor any sympathy for them. Maybe he should have taken a rocket instead of a chopper, would've been faster at least.

Yeah, I didn't necessarily say you were wrong, I was just pointing out that it seems very unlikely.

I feel like that in this instance, the highest probability is that it was an unfortunately accident. After that, I would put a rival Iranian faction or Russia as next most likely candidates.

Was it Freud that said sometimes a banana is just a banana? Bad weather, old bird maybe lacking some working navigation equipment, VIP passengers telling the pilot to get them where they're going now, et voila, chopper meet hillside.

No, the sanctions limit what aviation equipment they can legally get.
