Helio is my pick to win it tommorow simply because Milwaukee reminds me so much of a road course.

heavy breaking, long sweeping turns. fits him perfectly.

it's nice to see the traditional Milwaukee race the weekend after the 500. they had gotten away from it and it wasn't until the past few years they went back to the original date. i had the pleasure of catching a race at the Milwaukee Fairgrounds many years ago, in the CART era.

Either Helio or I wouldn't be surprised to see TK bounce back after that terrible final part of the race last weekend.

I've never saw an IRL race get rained out and be forced to a Monday start. Rain is everywhere except in Tennessee.

I'd hate to be the guy at Penske in charge of mounting the rear wings. :eek:hmy:

That was wild. Helio's reaction pretty much said it all.

Yep... luckily for him his didn't completely collapse before he came into the pits.

nice comments by Weldon afterwards. what a prick.

you know you've hit an all time low when you're bragging to the media about how much tougher than a woman you are. next time, get out of the way.

Better than whining like Danica did.

What exactly did he say?

That situation could've been a lot worse. Danica probably should've been more upset with her teammate who tried to make it three wide going into the turn and ultimately put her in that predicament. Wheldon had to make the turn and Danica couldn't move down to give herself and Wheldon anymore room. Great save by her, however.

Nevermind, I found it. Wheldon bringing the hate!

DAN WHELDON: (About contact with Danica Patrick): "I don't know (what happened). I think she had a run on Dario, and I think she thought she was alongside me. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't. As she got out of it, I don't know what happened. She spun or dropped to the back. She's a little disgruntled, but as Brian Barnhart says, what goes around, comes around. She nearly put me in the pit wall at Indianapolis, and I certainly have no problems with anyone else on the track. She's probably feeling the pressure of not winning races when her teammates are. It's unfortunate for her." (Did you know she was there): "I've been in this business long enough to know when someone is there and when somebody is not. Maybe it's a bit of inexperience there on her part. Certainly, everyone else that was alongside me got by, no problem. I thought it was a real clean race." (What happened after the race?): "She's just feisty. There's a lot of pressure on her because she has not won a race, and her teammates are (winning). I think in a situation like that, sometimes you get desperate. It's never nice to come into contact with somebody." (Did she shove you?): "She's just being Danica. She'll be fine when she calms down. She's messing with the wrong person if she wants to get feisty. I'm a lot tougher than she is on track."

so when a male race car driver has an issue with another driver like that, he's just frustrated. but when a female has the same thinh happen, it's whining?

Wheldon pretty much nailed her on PTI today. I agree with him 100%. Danica is a big baby.

Danke. I'll try and track down the podcast of today's show.

Did they show her tantrum from last year after she ran out of gas on the track?

so just because she's a woman she's not allowed to show any emotion on the race track?

you also must consider the source. Weldon will never be mistaken for modest.
