If freak is still asking, I just got on for the 1st time today, and got the orange screen.

I'm still asking. Anytime anyone experiences this please post it here along with any other information that you feel might be helpful. Does anything show in the status bar such as "loading".

Occasionally, the site it extremely slow to load early in the morning. I mean in the 2am-4am central timeframe.

Sometimes I'll type up a post, and when I click "submit reply" it will take an extrememly long time (several minutes) for the post to clear. During these times I've made a habit of copying my posts, opening another browser, and surfing other sites while waiting for that one post to go through. The status bar loads, but very slowly. Like after 2-3 minutes it's at roughly 25%

Sometimes it will not post at all. I'll just paste my reply and try again.

When it does this it doesn't last all night or even consecutive hours. Usually seems to occur in bursts.

Yeah, I agree, for some reason late at night it seems to be really slow.

It doesn't say anything on my end, and I'm using IE. Just now it did it, but only for a moment, nowehere near as long.

Guys the site backs itself up around 4am -5am Eastern time. It's going to be dead slow for about 20 minutes. It has to be done at some point and that was about the slowest traffic time that I could find.

I haven't had any problems with the board since shortly after I posted that thread. Seems to be working fine right now. I'll be sure to let you know if it happens again and get a screenshot.

I have a question. Sometimes I post a message in the quick reply space at the bottom. But sometimes in certain threads it will never go through. Is that because I'm on somebody's ingnore list or something?

Over the past couple of weeks I've had the orange screen when changing to a new thread or new page. It's happened randomly and very infrequently so I haven't thought too much about it. I just click on the back arrow and move on.

That probably describes my experience hman.

I'd be interested to see if the 2k8 skin makes a difference for those having issues.

I can see what's wrong with the 2k8 skin. It doesn't have a return to Top button.... :)

It's gonna take some getting used to. Definitely different than all of the other skins we've had since I've been here. It's a cool layout though.
