Using 2k7.1, I hit quote and got to this page in about 6 seconds. Using "default" or "speedy" it seemed to be on the order of about 20 seconds to get from a quote page to a page to enter my post.

Does that make sense?

Same here. MUCH quicker than before.

What did you do? Clear out all the posts by rexvol so that the server could function properly?

It looks like today's issue turned out to be a network wide issue from our hosting company. Please advise if this problem persists.

Well, I apologize first off for not reading the previous pages to see if there is a fix....having said that.....I have been (especially today and even now) having serious issues when I go to click to read a topic...it takes a while to load and gets stuck on an orange screen....just now I tried clicking the topics and gave up...obviously you are aware of it Freak....

Are you still experiencing the issues? If so can you run a tracert for me?

In windows, click on start --> run. Type cmd in that box. A terminal window will appear. Type in tracert Tennessee Vols Football, Basketball and Lady Vols. Please copy and paste the contents here. I would ask anyone else that is experiencing issues to please do the same.

Hey VF, its 6/17/08 and the page loads this afternoon are real slow (off and on). I quoted someone's post a few minutes ago and it took approximately 50 seconds of blank orange screen to come up.

When on the board lately I have been picking up a Trojan called Ditul have checked several times with spyware before going to the board and after leaving it and this is the only place I pick it up.

What firewall/anti spyware program do you use? I'm using McAfee havent noticed anything yet.

I am using Firefox and am experiencing slow page loading. Sometimes it has been so long I have hit refresh and most of the time it gets the page to change.

I'm not seeing the all orange screen.

My computer is like me, a bit older than most on here, so it is not as fast as it used to be.

Not to add to the complain list, but I have VN as my homepage and it's every so often that volnation.com/forum opens as a broken link. It's easily fixed and a refresh or two usually does the trick, but figured I'd let you know any way.

I am using Computer Associates firewall,virus protection by CA and CA spyware I get it from my server which is Frontier Communications and update it every day.
