That's good to know, that means it has to do with the ads. In which case the default skin should work during the times when this happens, although it's very ugly.

Also, is it safe to assume that everyone having issues is using internet explorer or no?

Fine, you are saying the other sites listed are loading fine? I suppose I need more feedback from others on this. How about the blog and home pages, fast or slow? If the "default" blue skin doesn't solve your issues, I'm not sure you are experiencing what everyone else is.

That's the strangest part of it all. How firefox solves the isses and one reason I never notice it.....I use firefox almost exclusively. Although, I'm using IE today to see if I experience any issues and I haven't.

I guess in the end I'll just have to live with it. I don't want to ask the work IT guys to switch me over to Firefox. Its not a big deal. but I figured I would say something this morning when it got to be so noticeably worse thinkign that perhaps some change had been made overnight that might account for it.

Glad to see others are having problems, too. Not in the sense I want other people to have problems, but in the sense that its not just me and something I'm doing wrong.

Incidentally, I'm on default and will try the others, though in the past that had no effect.

Lg, I appreciate the feedback and like to be notified anytime people are having issues. Have you tried the horrid blue default skin? If not, could you please select it from the dropdown and the bottom of the page and let me know if anything changes?

When I visit the links to the other sports sites you posted in the thread my speed is normal. As soon as I click on a thread it goes their in 1 second. So to be clear NV is the only one slow for me.

Fine, your issues seem to be a little different than the others. I'm not sure.

This entire issue is always weird because I don't experience it very often on my end. Occaisionally, I get a page that takes a few seconds to load and I just click refresh and it usually comes right up. I've never experienced anything close to 25 seconds so it's hard for me to troubleshoot. The more feedback I can get from more people, it helps me try and pinpoint the issue.

I went to "speedy" -- it was blue. When I hit quote to reply to your above post, it took over 20 seconds to open the page.

I also tried the 128 or whatever it is, same type of issue.

Default did help considerably. I can also say I have never had this issue before, if that helps. I will log on around 530 at home to see if it still drags.

LG, can you try the one at the very top of the list called "Default Style"?

That's the true "default style" I was referring to earlier. It's the base board software with no customizations. The default for the board is actually VolNation 2k7.1 which you can select from the dropdown.

Switched to that and it was about 9 seconds between hitting quote and getting to this screen. I'll try a few more and report.

So let me be sure if I understand this LG, you are having issues with the blue "Default Style" with no ads? If so, we may be dealing with two separate sets of issues here today.
