Bama without a doubt is a rivalry with greater tradition. But to me it's always been more of a family rivalry...there's at least always been a certain amount of begrudging respect among enemies. Florida I just plain hate, I hate their jort wearing zero class fans, I hate their culture, I hate their stadium...F em....

But I look forward more to a big Alabama game... they are more of a dignified nemesis....a worthy adversary. I hate Alabama on that third Saturday in October worse then anyone, but when the game is over i like them okay again.....I respect their tradition, and their fans.

Yes Florida has had a great teams and one of the greatest SEC coaches for some time under Spurrier, but the fans themselves in Gainsville are just really the lowest class of the SEC. It's the trailer-park.

I'm 23 so bama really hasn't been a rival like Florida has. I HATE the gators with a passion and yes we would of beat you 2 years ago 99 gator if hunter didn't get injured. I hate everything about Florida the annoying fans. the awful orange and blue clash they wear. I hate all there HCs they have had since I been alive. spurrier because he was was from here and a good coach.CUM because he is scum. Muschump because he told us no then went there a year later.

This is simply not true. There are no books and no tradition to a memphis and UT rivalry. Memphis is just an in state rivalry. Auburn is bamas number one rival but the UT and bama rivalry is real. Just because we've been down 5 years and they were down the previous 8 or so doesn't change that either. When both teams are good at the same time it's one of the biggest rivalries in sports. That's a fact, nothing like the dream memphis lives in.

Not sure...since we have not beat either Florida or Bama in such a long time, I find it hard to believe that they consider us much of a rival.
