Is Barnes expanding rotation?

Carr’s 3 PT% is worse and I’m sure he plays worse defense if he’s not playing. He’ll get there but he’s not there yet.

Gainey has years of a decent 3PT% at the college level, it makes sense to continue using him in limited minutes during a cold streak rather than trusting a true freshman

The true freshmen is bigger and has a much higher ceiling. Either way I hope Gainey can continue to play like he has in the last two games, and not revert back to taking and missing a bunch of questionable shots.

Yeah, Barnes was right on with the rotations tonight. Love the fact that Estrella is getting quality minutes and he's contributing. The kid plays with fire and a little attitude, and he's earning Barnes' confidence, which is huge.

Estrella is gaining more confidence each week and is having fun with the team. Another month of continued growth; he’ll be taking Awaka’s minutes. Competition makes the team better.

Earlier in the season he was taking more pull-up long 2s. He’s pretty much completely eliminated those since conference play started though. I think that’s maybe what op was referring to.

No doubt Barnes has always tried to have a 8-9-10 man rotation but you have to earn you way into quality minutes. Estrella is improving and we need Awaka to come alive. Aidoo is playing well inside. Gainey has earned playing time. We need Dillione to make some more strides. Mashack is such a versatile player he is a very important player on our team even coming off the bench. Hope Estrella and Awaka can continue to improve inside. Aidoo is playing well but we need more depth down low. I could talk all day, I love this team. GBO
