Nice thread. Been a cord cutter here for almost 3 years here. I've tried Sling, Vue, and DTVNow.

IMO, Vue is the best overall and Sling is the worst. DTVNow has all the channels I want since they have A&E and History which Vue doesn't offer.

I got the free Fire Stick through DTVNow and have the $35 Go Big plan. I pay $40 for internet. So $80/mo for cable and internet.

DTVNow isn't perfect but works very well. I am not a DVR person for the most part so the live TV is what I am after. I will probably stick with it and go through the growing pains as the 100 channels for $35 is the best rate going. If I ever lose that rate or they jack it up significantly I would go back to Vue without thinking twice.

I like DTVNow. I missed the $35 special but still got the Apple TV deal. We get all the channels we care about for $55 (HBO).

I get Showtime free with my Internet. I'm saving $60+/month not using Xfinity cable.

Yes. I have the highest speed they offer w/ unlimited data. It was cheaper than the speed I had with cable. I could get either HBO or Showtime plus local channels. Since we got HBO w/ DTVNow, I took the Showtime.

How did the Apple TV arrive? Regular packaging?

I have one unopened that I was going to return but now that I did the deal, was thinking I could open and use it and then just return the other appletv when it gets here

It comes in normal Apple TV packaging. I think they are tracked by serial #s. Why don't you just keep both?

This is what I have with Comcast. I use PSVue and love it on Apple TV 4.
