Is G.W. Bush an Idiot or just linguistically challenged?

He didn't win the first election, Gore did. Bush stole it. :whistling:

"For everyone else, there's George W. Bush"

Aren't we the lucky ones?

Sorry, I tried to find the one that had losing the state of Tennessee instead of the stupid Florida voters.

Again, would Gore have been that much better?

We would not have combustible engines......

His daddy got him into college, Al-quaeda and gay marriage got him re-elected..

So terrorists and gays got him re-elected. He has them to thank. Put that on a bumper sticker and watch some people squirm.

Now it's all starting to make sense!

Did you have to call her or could she hear you yelling from her basement?

I would challenge anyone here to put up better academic credentials than GWB has. Quit using the played out, liberal-blogger "idiot" quote and think for yourself.

i'll take offense to that. for your info i live in sevierville and my mom lives in toledo ohio. that is one hell of a long basement i bet. :the_finger:

DubyaSpeak.com : : We record the damage.

He's not an idiot.
He's a horrible speaker.
He's not as informed as someone holding his office should be, and even though he got his degree from Yale, he has never been able to use it successfully. He's run a couple of different oil companies into the ground.

The difference between him and Clinton is work effort. It was not unusual for Clinton to be at work on the phone with foreign officials at 3am. He took short vacations (for a president), and he even worked consistently through the impeachment hearings.

Bush is always in bed early, and he is on pace to break the record for presidential vacation time. I don't hate him, but I also don't think he's the best man for the job at the current time.

Really?

Then why did a PDB entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike US" sit on his desk for nearly a month prior to 9/11?

You make it sound as if stuff was piling up on his desk and he was letting voicemail catch all his calls while he took a sabbatical in Panama City.

I'll admit that he isn't disconnected from power while on vacation. They setup command centers, and he has done work while in Crawford, etc.

I'm just saying that vacation is a different state of mind. I know I couldn't do my job nearly as effectively from a hotel in Myrtle Beach, and I don't believe that he can do his job quite as well from his ranch.

Listen, I don't fault the man for taking some time off. His high pressure job demands it. I just don't think that he needs quite as much time off as he has taken.

In his defense, I will say that he has cut down on his vacation time as of late.

I hate it when people are reasonable.

Bush will go down in history as the guy who rallied the USA after 9/11 and Clinton will be remembered as the guy who spooged on his intern.
