Is G.W. Bush an Idiot or just linguistically challenged?

Umm so what? I'm not talking about Gore. I just think it's laughable to use Bush's presidency as an example of success in his life. He's done the same thing with this country as he's done with everything else... Ruin it.

The country is hardly ruined. He didn't ruin Texas (as governor) and he didn't ruin the Texas Rangers (as owner).

W. critics would be taken more seriously if they didn't use such hyperbole in their critique.

Can you point to specific policies of Bush that "caused" this laundry list?

Can you show the condition of these items pre and post Bush to support your claim that Bush is to blame for these items.

Can you sort out which items are just criticisms of Texas (e.g. # of people executed since 1978).

Can you tell me which "objective" website you used to compile the list.

Finally, can you show that in fact Texas is "ruined".

Dude, that's way too much work for you just to come back and not consider any of it to be relevant.

For the most part it isn't relevant.

I looked up one of the sites housing much of the info you posted - the author downplays anything good that happened during the Bush adm. in Texas saying the success was "pre-existing conditions". Then he goes on to blame Bush for things that were clearly pre-existing conditions. By adding things like # of people on death row since 1978, you fall right into the same misleading presentation.

The larger point overall is that the hate some have for Bush motivates them to dig up and twist anything they can (ironic since they claim pre-war intelligence was done in a similar fashion). If I had the hate, I could produce a similar list for virtually any state administration.

Finally, I was in Texas 4 times last year - hardly looked ruined to me.
