Is it our OC or QB

Redzone playcalling will be limited when you don't trust what the QB is seeing.. OC should have kept throwing to White today. I'd like to hear his thoughts on why we didn't target him more..They jumped all.over us in the 3rd quarter and it was an avalanche from there. Milton gets rattled too when things go bad..You can see it in his body language..
Joe played good in the first half. So why wouldn’t you trust him to throw it more? I thought we should have thrown much more and sprinkled some runs in here and there.

“Changed”. Let me fill you in. This QB has lost his job everywhere he has went. We started him 2 years ago. Due to injury, we stumbled upon the best QB we’ve had in some time. Here we are again. Kind of the definition of Ludacris. You’re welcome.
So let’s throw the true freshman out there against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. That would be a genius move. Oppenheimer, let me guess, if that didn’t work you’d throw out the walk-on? Thank god you don’t coach football.

I think it’s a lox tire of a lot of things. Halze, Milton, WRs, Heupel. It’s not just one thing. Today we got out coached and out played in the second half. And if I am being honest, it was troublesome. Supposedly this was the most beatable Bama team we have seen in awhile and they just dominated us.

They go into a shell when they get in the redzone. It's his decision making, always has been.. You score TDs in the first half instead of FG's . Maybe you get them to make a mistake and blow it wide open. We'll never know...I will say we're going to see it again because we have all year.

Trying to determine if the reason we run much more conservative calls when we are

1. In the red zone
2. Backed up in our half

Is it because they don’t trust Joe?

Or is it because Alex left?

Curious as to the opinions of others.
I think it’s a mutual lack of trust by the OC and Milton in his abilities. There have been instances where Milton doesn’t trust himself to make a play and where the call goes away from what Milton is comfortable with.

I began watching on a tape delay. Vols up 13-0 and then they run 9 straight pass plays resulting in 3 straight punts on 3 and outs. Quit watching after that so I’m not sure if it was refs or continued bad coaching.

You’re like a teenage girl. Upset and not being objective. “Daddy didn’t do what I wanted so he’s not serious.” This was all on the refs. Heupel made a bone headed call but that didn’t cost us the game. Sit down.
Funny.. tough guy. I’m all male, 5’8”, 58 years old and would be thrilled to run an 8 second 40. But you strike no fear. Refs were BAD, no doubt. But there is a lot more bad than the refs. Money is gambled on these games, did you know that?
I suggested you wake up and will double down. I’m as objective as can be.
Maybe you can learn to think outside of the box to see a bigger picture. Maybe not…

The ones on here attacking the team, is it that time of the month? Like chill. Heupel has brought us to relevance, we’re close to competing for the promise land. Why are you throwing a toddler fit?
If this year was last year and, last year this year, everyone would be okay. CJH got us there in year two so, expectations were even higher, I think.

What are we close to? Tell me what the season means to you when you lose to FL, Bama, and GA? Shall we celebrate beating the teams that we should be beating every year without issue?
Don’t you know? We’re supposed to forget that this is a top ten program all-time and content ourselves with being middle of the pack because that requires less thought and effort from our administration.

We struggle if we don’t get positive yards on 1st down and get conservative on downs 2-3.

We miss Hyatt more than anything else as he freed up other players as well as created more creativity with offense.

Can’t be worse than getting blown out by USC last season.

I just don’t understand why the play calling gets bad when it gets in the red zone. Like I said Milton played good. I think Heupel screwed the pooch in the red zone.

Plenty of blame for them too. The calls were garbage at times. I don't think they've forgotten how to coach. Just doesn't look the same this year. QB, OC, WR's dropping passes. I guess get the magic 8 ball out shake it a few times and see what it comes up with..
