At this minute there are 1900 + users online. Don't know how many follow Lady Vol Basketball. I do know there are many who suggest that the negative shadow casters (Lesbo talk, UConn violations) just drop it. If you and you're ilk aren't going to listen to that intelligence then you're going to continue to bash the "Blueconn" posters continuing to give all Lady Vol posters a bad name. 99% of Lady Vol posters are upstanding people. They don't deserve you dragging them down.

It's just you and a small handful, really. The few of you are so immature that you'll say anything to make yourself feel better when standing side by side to UConn.

The Vols aren't the team they once were. Just get over it. I don't give as damn about we beat UConn in attendance.

C'mon.... let's get a coach and restore to glory. Let a NC win speak positively instead of the constant reminder of 32 pages of internet postings/gossip pulled together by Maria of The Summitt

The Vols lost that battle then.... it would be lost again now.

Actually, the reason I started it was to see if TENN fans were interested in playing UCONN now that it might not be a beat down. You can credit the other posters for all the craziness that has ensued.

I have never once visited any UConn fan board. I have never once initiated a conversation with a UConn wbball fan. My conversation here was in response to UConn troublemakers. You can deal with that ever how you choose.

But I will tell you a little story: In the early 2000's I was in attendance at the annual TN vs UConn game. At the end of the game a fan yelled "go home" to Geno. Geno apparently thought someone on the TN bench yelled it. In full frothing-at-the-mouth mad dog Geno mode this man yelled repeatedly "no fu--ing class" at Pat Summitt and her staff and team. Pat stared at him and calmly turned and walked away. I was about 20 feet away. Later, Geno apparently found out what happened and brushed the whole thing off as a "misunderstanding".

I'll accept your label of "immature", Mr point guard, I'm not too concerned by that. But you need to understand how toxic the series became, Geno's role in that toxicity, and the role the UConn fans on this board play in perpetuating that toxicity.

Uhhh......you do know that the OP is a uconn troll? You're new to the board so FYI, we tolerate posts that would never see the light of day on your "open" uconn forum. Freak has a thing about freedom of speech....it's somewhere in the original paperwork.:)

Mr. Jeff, I'll take your word for that alleged behavior by Geno Auriemma on that date. I don't have a horse in that race.

He's not the point of my posts that are not actual BB posts... a small handful of Lad Vol WCBB fans making posts that cast a negative light on all Lady Vol fans is the point of certain of my posts. I visit a lot of basketball forums and Volnation and The Summit fans get a bad rep because of very few posters, and in particular Mr. "Lesbo", are the real cause of this bad reputation. Clinging to wrong data and viciously reporting them as truths.

I'll say it again 99% of Lady Vol posters are upstanding salt of the earth people. Why not join the crowd, Mr. Jeff?

I have no interest in what posters on other boards think. There's a line from a movie I like: "they think what they think, I think what I think". They can think what they like, I don't care. They can say what they like in their house, I don't care. But coming here and starting trouble is not something I did. It's something reno tony did (he does this periodically) and he's joined by a handful of other uconn followers.

Between the two of us on this board, I understand and you don't. Why not try to understand yourself.

The fact is we simply do not have the coaching to beat, or even challenge, UCONN. We have been out coached by lesser coaches, with lesser players than Genno and what he has left. The problem is not the players but coaching and player development. Until that and recruiting improves we never will be in position to challenge top five teams not including UCONN. It would be like going to a gun fight with a ballpoint pen.

TD your commentary is always on the nose.... we do indeed to develop our players, and for that to happen we need to seek out the best .... and set the expectations high for them.... when that happens, we shall again rise like The Phoenix!!!

You don't have to read any of this. The ignore button works well. I use it myself but the funny thing is, I use it more for LV posters than for UConn posters, (not meaning you).

Sadly, we have to admit UConn has Geno and we have nobody now. Hopefully that will change. For the time being it remains that UConn rules and our team drools. We need new coach and support staff.

I still respect the lady Vols but not some of you fans. Unless UT apoligizes we should never play again, the vitriol between the fan bases will last a lifetime. I honesty do hope that UT returns to the program you once were but highly doubt it will happen. Very sad for you fans, you have my sympathy.

Are you saying just the name was a dead give away?:p

It's amazing how many fans of other teams just looooove the Lady Vols, and they are are all so honest and polite. It makes it rough on the real women's basketball fans of other teams to be respected....but you're right, we do learn very quickly who's honest and who just wants to troll.

UT had a run with the three Meeks that would rival what UConn is doing. They've been a superior program for a good while now, and it's not going to change anytime soon.

Yeah remember that era.... it was incredible..... those players were amazing..... they were fighters...... and they got the results
