But who made up the list? Fulmer hasn’t named any candidates, nor have their been any confirmed interviews.

I won’t ask any “do you think” questions. I’ll just state my opinion. Fulmer hasn’t reached out to anyone yet because his first choice was coaching until today. As a former HC with proper respect, he wouldn’t meddle with a candidate still coaching a season, and he wouldn’t even make a phone call to them the very DAY they suffered a season ending loss. All the “this means that and that means this” posts, tweets, purported information doesn’t take that into consideration. All to say I believe Walz is his first choice and we’ll find out if I’m right.

GG wasnt able to recruit as well at Texas and the program was a rebuilding project. Tennessee has a top 10 roster coming back....they just need someone who can actually coach and develop talent.

This! GG's first mistake at Texas was that she didn't retain the services of Travis
Mays (there best recruiter). She also rubbed Texas HS coaches the wrong way and suddenly all those kids that used to go to Texas started going to A&M and Baylor.

NO NO NO. IVEY IS THE BEST CHOICE BOTH MONEY WISE AND ON COURT COACHING. Waltz lost both games to ND by an average of 17 per game. Plus no Final Fours. Bad choice and very expensive.
