I think so. 2 time MVP. Super Bowl Winner and now racking up major stats for the Cards who could win the division this year for the first time in decades. He is closing in 30k in yards.

we'll see where his numbers end up. to his defense, he does have a Super Bowl ring and a couple of MVP's.

i mean, i understand the hate because his wife is/was ugly, but i think the guy can make a case.

Between No and maybe....if he does get in, it'll be long after he quits palying; a long, long, long time after he retires

He has Joe namath stats. Super Bowl early in his career marred by sub-par injury seasons. Namath has 27k yards and 173 td's. warner has 24k and 150 td's. Their stats will be identical after this season is over.

The HOF isn't what it was supposed to be anymore. I don't think it should be ALL about stats. Some of the best players had mediocre stats, but had leadership skills that were far superior to others at their position. Some players benefited from being on a team that had stellar talent surrounding them. Troy Aikman comes to mind. Above average QB, great teams. Warner will have better numbers than some guys in the HOF, but it's a tossup if he gets in. No way on the first or even second shot.

Agreed If he can manage to get the cardinals a division title at the helm he does have leadership and skill.

No, but he still had a couple of years in which he put up some great numbers. Of course he has Bruce, Holt, and Martz to think for some of that.

as opposed to all these other HOF qbs that just had a bunch of hacks out there running routes.

Bruce's numbers actually big, big time compare right there with Holt's...

I'll admit, I didn't expect that.

right now, Bruce has more TDs, YDS and RECs than Holt.

and better numbers that Irvin, Monk, and Largent (to name a few) that are already HOFers. the dude is a shoe in for enshrinement.

Jim Kelly, Warren Moon, and Dan Fouts are all HOFers. Warner has won 2 more SBs than those guys combined. He's a shoe-in. Maybe not a first ballot guy but he'll get in.

His stats are better than Namath's even when considering that offensive numbers only go up. I'm sure the QB turning over the ball even back then wasn't a good thing, and Broadway Joe compiled more INTs than TDs.

He is three years older, but his numbers are impressive. Both are good dang wideouts.
