Is Nick Saban Done?

I hope it will be Dabo Swinney it would be cool for Tennessee to help get him fired in 4 years
It’s just me, but I don’t see Dabo taking it. He’s got it made where he is, and he would be taking on a hellish universe of more pressure. He built what he has entirely himself, has been there long enough to have a certain amount of family roots, and can win just as many championships as he could at Bama, without the SEC meat grinder.

I also would like to see Clemson fall to what they were when Tommy Bowden and Tommy West coached them.

Saban is not retiring after this season. He will retire after another NC. For sure he cleans house and lets the DC go.

Dabo would be stupid to leave Clemson. It's a much easier road to championships there and it's a program he built himself. Why would he leave to go be in Nicky's shadow? Whoever follows him is doomed.

Thats my thought as well, He has built that program to be his and it would be silly to leave for an almost equal job except with having to play the SEC teams every week....He's got it made at Clemson

If he is waiting for another NC, he may be another Paterno. GA gonna make it tough on him to do that and add other teams getting a lot better. Idk man

Hearing Dion Sanders has a plane scheduled for Tuskerloserville tomorrow.

Guessing he plans to make his case.

Aubie going to be mightly unhappy at that turn of events.

lol, maybe it's to shoot another aflac commercial?

No. The fact some people can’t realize no coach/team is impervious to a subpar year here and there is crazy.

My homie in Folsom thinks Urban Myers wants either the Bama or Aubie job.

Apparently, his heart is no longer broken,

He best hurry it up then lol nobody lives forever, not even Saban, though I could see him out there with a walker on the sidelines lol

Gene Stallings retired he said he wanted to watch over and spend more time with his son who had Down Syndrome.
He got to do that, but if you drill down, he was tactfully shown the door. I was at the Alabama/Auburn game with one of my Bama Friends (I think the last one to be played at Legion field). As we were walking to the car listening to the radio, it was announced. Didn't make sense. Somebody, with Bama ties verify. I'm thinking the forced outing of Stallings was the talk of the Finebaum show after that Iron Bowl. And I'll admit, Gene Stallings was a class act. I saw him at the Tenn/ Texas A&M game in a pregame parade. He was watching from a porch on a house there in College Station. I yelled and waved at him and he gave me one of those WTF looks.

I have no idea when he will leave or who might be the next guy, but I can't wait to see it. Not because I want Saban gone. I have mad respect for the guy, but when he leaves, Bama fans think all that has to happen is for them to offer exactly who they want and that coach is going to come running to Tuscaloosa. I don't know if that will happen. The first coach that says no is going to create a meltdown of epic proportions.

We will enjoy it immensely.
Well, the last time the first offer said no, they melted down and got this guy named Nick Saban…

I can see that. They want Dabo. Clemson is ready for something new. The stars align for that transition to finally happen.

Nick is too old to get out of the way of incoming players. This morning, bet he has purple ribs. His wife needs to reel him in to the georgia lake.
I highly doubt Clemson is ready for something new!!
Dabo, Day and Kirby would all be dumb to leave where they are.
I doubt Saban is retiring anyway.
