Is Stokes Coming Back?

Leaving would be a huge mistake. Yea, he has an NBA body but he still has to improve his game if he wants to do good in the NBA.

His philosophy might be that he thinks he goes in Round 2 this year and would not get picked at all next year. Those scenarios might not be true, but as he sees who's returning, that might be his reasoning if he's leaving.

Some of us may be crashing worse than others right now. I was not among those looking for an Elite Eight or better if Stokes returns, as I don't expect a coach who's never coached in the NCAAT to take Tennessee deep in his first appearance.

Next year's team would still be decent without Stokes. They just won't be the NCAAT lock they could have been. We need a great recruiting class, or this team could become very bad in a hurry. That's my fear.

That might not be far off. Basically, that's what happened to Tyler Smith. He should have left after his sophomore year. The longer he stayed, the lower his stock dropped.

I wonder if Lofton would have had a shot after his junior season (if he wouldn't have been dealing with cancer then).

Doesn't look good at all! Stokes posted a photo on Facebook yesterday stating last week with my bros/teammates. I hate to hear this

If someone already mentioned it my bad. Didn't fell like reading through 17 pages of the this thread. Just stating the obvious! He had the pic up and I am telling you what I saw. No reason to get bent out of shape.
