There are rules associated with where you can file suit. You can’t just pick wherever you like. In a NY State case, it was going to be a NY judge. I can’t speak to how Merchan could be in a bunch of Trump cases but that’s different than venue shopping. @RockyTop85 maybe could speak to that. I’m just saying there’s nothing uncommon or wrong with changing venues where allowed.
