Depends on what you mean by that. I dont believe Trump incited or attempted coup/riot. I think the left is being cute with words on that and extraordinarily hypocritical based on the Floyd protests/riots. I do believe that every single person who unlawfully acted on 1/6 deserve punishment. I believe Ashli Babbitt is an idiot. I believe the cop who shot her should have been investigated and evidence brought to a grand jury.

I think the lawyers who advised Trump that Pence could do the elector thing deserve disbarment and charges

Agree with all but the last sentence...the electors have been done previously in other elections...both submitted ,(not used) and those that help overturn. Hawaii...now the verbiage on the letters they submitted are what is getting them charged in a few states where they left out the very important part about pending court cases being overturned....basically a these are not valid unless x happens.

If you know that what they suggested is so bad that they should be disbarred (but not a coup?) then why is the President of the United States held to a lower standard?

Because he is not a lawyer. He defered to his legal council. If they know they knowingly, or reasonbly should have known, that their professional guidance was unlawful then that's on them.
