The fact that you even felt the need to ask that shows exactly how loaded this whole diatribe is and how piss poor this thread construction really is.

This is fair, but to me it's kind of on the people who vote "no" when they really mean "yes but it didn't happen." Just say yes

Then why not ask the question in a manner which would actually elicit useful discourse? 🤷‍♂️

Bitching here will happen anyway. Might as well at least attempt some discourse on the topic at hand.
It does prompt useful discussion.

Like I said, it’s not like people here don’t know what we’re talking about. So it’s reasonable to expect them to be able to say what, if proven, would change their mind.

The only two reasons I can think of to ask the question is because A) I’m genuinely interested in the response or B) to keep people from moving the goalposts later or discredit them if they do.

If you can’t give an honest answer to an open ended question, neither of those things remains relevant. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The fact that nobody has answered indicates people are willing to turn their brains off for this halfwit.

I’d normally agree with your stance except in this case the post is required to completely alter the context of the question at hand not really expand on it. By your own observation the thread title explicitly says “by the president”. Then the same phrase is used as the poll question with those words dropped. The implication being made is that the president did it. The OP should have properly couched the four outcomes possible in the thread title but he didn’t want to see those poll results so... 🤷‍♂️

Eh disagree on the last statement completely. Broad open ended topics just seem to meander around aimlessly in reply. There was no need here. This is a very specific case.

And because we disagree we can no longer be forum buddies! Begone with you now, infidel!

Hate to break it to you, dude, but the question in the poll - this EXACT question - is what is laid before Cogress right now.

Whether Trump DID or DIDN'T extort is obviously a second question before Congress.

A like third question is whether or not Trump had corrupt intent.

Whether you like these questions or not is irrelevant.

I would consider impeachment if he supplied automatic rifles to the drug cartels. May also consider it if he uses the IRS to target people for political purposes. Using his foundation to pay for his daughter's wedding may also be up for consideration. If he instructed the NSA to conduct mass surveillance of the populace, that would definitely fit the bill for grounds of impeachment. If Trump were to sell 20% of our Uranium to Russia in exchange for tens of millions of dollars to his foundation, I might consider that an impeachable offense.
Tongue in cheek? Or is that your final answer?

Yes, if Trump has treasonous scandals similar to Hillary or Obama, he should be impeached, as should they have (but never were). But we all know that what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander. Democrats are afforded much more leniency in regards to their scandalous affairs. Orange man bad, after all.
