Is the world better off with the nation of Israel?

Any formal Israeli government is a "Zionist Regime" to them. Henceforth, no Israeli government, no Israel
Did you read the tweet you posted? He clearly stated the Muslims, Christians and Jews that lived in Palestine before the occupation. I think that makes it pretty cut and dry (assuming that is a legit quote) what the Ayatollah was allegedly saying.

And yet even still, even with all that, it seems he was able to make a distinction between Jews and "Zionists", else, he wouldn't have called for their return to Palestinian territories.

When did the "occupation" begin? May 14, 1948?? They've been fighting nonstop since then. Other countries have been trying to remove Israel since.

We are about due for israel to light somebodies arse up again. Bout every 10 years some arab country forgets about the last time that Israel stomped an arab country for attacking them a little too much and killing civilians etc... it will happen again soon. If the towel heads didnt know that the Israelis had nukes, they would have tried to get together 2 or 3 of them again like they did in the 6 day war, and tried to destroy Israel all together. Funny how that old " mutually assured destruction " thing works...or in i believe all cases except Pakistan, the only ones getting nuked would be the.arabs...i need to do some reading, how the heck did pakistan ever get nukes anyway??? Who let that happen to a 3rd world country...the biggest reason we are still in Afghanistan is because we cant let any of those terrorist groups get hold of nuclear material from pakistan...

I chuckle at the highlighted with regards to a nuclear Pakistan.

Anyways, just like all Jews are not Zionists, all Muslims are not fundamentalist terrorists... nor are all Christians night-riders that burn crosses. We don't need to generalize.

Another thing, Israel got more than they bargained for 10 years ago when they tried to go against Hezbollah and got that chin checked. This isn't necessarily your grandpa's IDF right now, nor are these your grandpa's Arab militias.

The Israelis and The Saudis need US military muscle behind them to do just about anything in the region. They depend on the US for funding, weapons and back up. That entire sand box would be a lot better if The KSA, Zionists and their Western backers actually engaged in peace instead of provocation and bullying tactics.

Are you referring to the 34 day fight in Lebanon on 2006? Israel used restraint and maintained the offensive the whole time. I don't really see much chin checking.

The IDF is still an extremely dangerous fighting force and I personally believe they are the closest match to bringing the US to a stalemate. (We won't get into that worm trap, it's just my opinion as a vet and professional soldier)

Interestingly enough, with the amount of support from Iran, a lot of people consider this the true beginning of the Israel-Iran proxy war.

Ras

I agree with some of what you post here.

Heres the rub:

The only muslims that dont support jihad and killing all the infidels, which is anyone besides muslims, are the ones who arent sincere muslims. Meaning the ones that dont embrace what their "prophet" and their "holy" book tells them to do
I have read every sura of the quran. The part of it that is an exact copy of the Old Testament of the bible is fine. The problem is the rest of the book. It tells them to lie, cheat, and murder in order to advance islam and subjugate the entire world. So there are no true honest, peaceful muslims. Just insincere "fake" muslims that dont even attempt to live out their faith. There are many, many muslims who may not committ acts of terrorism...but they dont condemn it, either. Like that English professor that was just murdered by a Muslim student for " profaning muhammed"...any peaceful muslum should condemn that...but there is silence. Because while they didnt have the balls to do it themselves, they actually support the terrorists...they just wont say that publicly. ( remember they are told to lie)

Anyone who says islam is a religion of peace is either completely ignorant about the religion, or intentionally deceptive. No third option. If the Bible told Christians to kill and lie, it would be the same. The 10 commandments actually forbid both lying and murder though.

Ever done any reading about the birth defects and problems with genes in arab countries due to inbreeding? Its the worst on earth. Horrific. What about grown arab men having little boys as sex toys but it not making them gay or being punishable by death like being gay is under sharia law?? Read a bit about that, too. The muslim countries in this world are the most backward, dysfunctional, violent, misogynistic, 3rd world sheetholes on the planet. When electric or other vehicles actually replace the combustion engine and the world no longer needs oil...these entire countries will destroy eachother while starving to death. Funny how Israel has irrigated the vast majority of their country and it looks green...the rest of the sandbox is still desert. They have had thousands of years to improve their country...Isreal has had 50 or so years?

So. This law seems pretty unnecessary and obviously unconstitutional. I decided to try and read up on possible justifications for it.
To see if there was anything I was missing.
Most of what you find is people freaking out about it but not a whole lot on why it would be a good idea.

Then I stumbled on to this.

Pay No Mind To The Fake Ruckus About a Phony Israel Anti-Boycott Law

Interesting read.

Interesting read.

No way, no how, should any US citizen, corporation or entity be subjected to such an unconstitutional statute, that penalizes Americans for boycotting any other country...

This is impermissible....political boycotts are fully supported by the 1st Ammendment...

Every American should be fighting this!

Throw the emotional garbage out.

I’d agree that on its face it appears unconstitutional. Regardless it’s been in place since 1979 and hasn’t been struck down. In my short research it doesn’t appear to have even been challenged.

Furthermore there doesn’t appear to be any debate on it and is bipartisan. To me the bad is obvious but I’d like to read some justification for it. At least to understand, or try to understand, the thought process.

The whole thing is odd

Emotional garbage?!

Then throw out 90% of your post..

There is no justification for this...zero. Americans should never be forced to support another country politically...

But yet, if you don't sing the national anthem or salute the flag, you're anti-American.
The law is garbage no doubt. But I fail to see why you keep saying this. Are you saying it’s hypocritical to say that while also supporting another country?

For the record, I also think the outrage over kneeling is ridiculous

As the law reads nobody is being forced to support a foreign country. You’re just not allowed to openly boycott them.
Again unnecessary law in my opinion. Most likely unconstitutional. So.....why hasn’t it been challenged before now?
It’s barely been discussed.
