I think Bruce needs to have a sit down with JP Prince. Its had to watch him play. He makes some of the worst plays i have seen. And he is a senior and shouldnt be makeing them. He fouls a guy while shooting a three and smiles about it. Cant shoot a free throw. Dont think this team will go past the second round in sec tourney, and ncaa. And with what Kentucky got silly plays wont get it done.

Most UT fans are football fans first, but I'd hope the majority realize that any discussion about this years team compared to previous years should be mostly based on postseason performance.

The Fulmerites were defending a guy with multiple losing seasons. Let me know when that happens with Pearl once before beginning to compare him to Fulmer. Stupid comparison, as usual.

No, we could lose the rest of our games and we wouldn't make it. That's not bloody likely, though.

We're at 19 in the RPI and we'll go up after our next two games, win or lose. And 7-4 against the RPI top 100. It would take a major collapse for this team not to make it.

I agree with previous posters... last year's team was worse.

You have to remember, each team before that has Chris Lofton on it, and while last year's team technically had Chris, we all know he wasn't himself due to cancer.

So this team is probably Bruce's second worst team in the time he's been here... that really just says a lot for how much of a factor C.Lo was. His 3 ball was special, and made it easier to play at other positions. Of course, I'm not trying to discount the play of J.Smith or even CJ Watson in Bruce's first year... but Lofton is a special shooter.

Does that mean that THIS team isn't GOOD? Of course not. This is a top 15 team, that proved with the Kansas win that they can beat anyone... amazingly, playing a different style of basketball from what we are used to. I think that just speaks to good coaching. Adjusting game plan to meet the abilities of your personnel.

This team has sufficient talent. The half-court defense is the best of any Pearl team. The problem with this team is the lack of consistent out-side shooting. The inconsistent offense play is painful to watch at times. That also includes bad shot selection and unforced turnovers. The SC game Saturday was one of their best games this season.

Pearl looks as if coaches better the lesser the talent he has..Fact is...These people are uncoachable...Prima Donnas

Just look at the job he did with NO players vs. Kansas...Texas 3 years ago..Ohio State...etc
