I am so sick of the Kellie doesn't deserve criticism for anything. Let's look, she is a complete failure at high school recruiting. Her staff is a joke, Sam can't recruit, and we got Jackson simply because we had such a huge, (not recruited successfully) hole in the roaster. She has succeeded at what? Not beating any top teams. Holly regularly beat South Carolina, including when Asia Wilson was there and I don't remember any upsets Kelly has gotten ever. Including on the recruitment trail. She gets one high school. All American and she can't keep her, or coach her, or any guards.. And, it's not her fault she wasn't coached up. We got a bunch of coaches who don't belong at Top Five conference schools. For instance, her husband, do you all really think he goes out and recruits, or is he a stay at home with Kelly. So we're actually one short on the recruitment trail, instead of getting rid of him, (cuz he's sucks at what he does), and get a recruiter, a another coach in. Not like he's going to go somewhere else and coach because nobody would hire him. So he's going to be there anyway. Why are we paying him?
She certainly can't coach point guards which is a sham because we still don't have one that can dribble the ball up the court. I don't know why everybody didn't full court press us, because if Jordan wasn't there, we wouldn't give the ball up court. She lets games get out of hand before she, calls timeouts, plays a courts presses, and then stops doing it, and loses. She won two games in the NCAA tournament this year. One against a team that then ended the season with a losing record ( 17-18) and the other one, a team that shouldn't have been there either. And then, we gotten embarrassed, by a team that we had already played before. So we should have known what they were doing, and supposedly we improved? We looked stupid. We got the game closed and then we blew it. Blew it. Sorry... Kelly blew it. So we don't have any recruits for the last 2 years. So I don't know what you all think she's going to do next year, but it's not going to be lady vol culture. Kellie hasn't built any! We're going to start a bunch of benchwarmers 2024 (year after this). Which is going to get some what saved by Key being back, and Jackson coming back. But if you don't think we're going to lose more than 10 games, then you're delusional. And, if you think we're going to make it out of the sweet 16, you're crazy! The only top recruit she's ever gotten walks out and leaves. And if Sam is such a great recruiter like you people say she is, and she can get these people in the transfer portal, how come she couldn't keep Horston? How come she couldn't keep Burrell, how come Davis didn't use her last year? Face it, Holly was second only to Geno in recruiting, and Kellie has lived off what she was left. We have zero culture after this year, unless Darby, Puckett, and someone else steps up, because we will have zero sophomores or freshmen on the team. Think about that zero. How's she still has a job? I don't know. I mean she can't put fries in the basket. What makes you think she can win basketball games with recruit, and having developed zero culture? Justine made the right decision in getting the hell out of Knoxville. Unfortunately, Tennessee should have told Kelly to get the hell out of Knoxville. It's embarrassing. And we are the laughing stocks of not only SEC, but of the nation on the recruiting trail. Let's think of the players, that have left, or lost early. Mimi Jackson left, Green gets kicked out of school for doing drugs (while injured), under Kelly's watch... gone, Middleton, kicked out... gone, the 2nd rank recruit Westbrook left to UCONN, and Kellie couldn't be bother to even try to keep her.
She was left Davis, Rae, Jordan, and Key by Holly. Kellie will never in her coaching career sign 4 players of that natural, and potential talent, period. Not sure why all three didn't stay and finish there careers, but none were ready to go pro, is Davis even still in the league? Rae was injured, probably won't make a team. Key will stay just one more year, seriously, why stay with no talent another year? How do you have culture with 1 and done transfers, guards that can't dribble, or pass, and no talent to coach up? Fish rot from the head back! Kellie, doesn't know what she is doing, she was a failure at NC St. We could of, possible, gotten Mulkey here, well let's hope for more miracles to transfer in. We certainly have starting positions, it might help if Kellie could figure out an obvious line up, and we might land some. We need 3 forwards, 4 guards, a power 4, and two centers in the next two years with experience SEC talent. That is a huge task for someone who really hasn't signed 1 out of high school...ever, anywhere, except Darby, and Puckett who took a huge step backwards try to learn to be an undersized 4. Key won't stay another year after this one, not a chance, Justine is a smart young lady, she needs coaching, don't be surprised to see her at UCONN. Let's also not forget, she lost Emily Saunders who had extremely productive results in the few minutes she played, and certainly never got coached up. What about Franklin, Kellie said, don't worry, she will find her shot ... Obviously the girl has never had one to begin with, and for some dumb reason she played tons early in the year. Jackson came for 2 reasons, both were Holly recruits. She came to play with Key and Horston period. We don't have that type of line up to sell stars a starting positions amongs anymore, and after next year, we have zero culture to train up talent, or bodies. Well done Kellie! Holly was an elite 8 coach, highly touted as coach of the year her first season, and she recruited athletic talent. Let's also not forget horrible in game decisions, like when Jordan got hurt in a game that was well over with, and under any decent coach would have been pulled out, and at least told, do not put yourself in a crazy position to get hurt. Hey Kellie, how many times did Walker get driven into a corner at half court and turn it over... Way too many that it went on for two years! Why hasn't Sara entered the transfer porteral? I am not sure why Darby hasn't either. Why when Darby and Key were in the game were we not playing zone? Darby is a decent defender in the zone, Key has got the middle, walker was always a liability on defense, and passing, and dribbling., And driving into the lane with no idea what to do there. Really, please explain why Kellie is even defendable, she was left a loaded roster, and this year's team had 3 first round picks on it, and she didn't have a rotation or line up set before season, when she stacked it with major top teams? Poor planning, poor play calling, not really sure we actually ever had one other than get it to Darby, Jordan, or Jackson. Whomever takes over after this train wreck season, and it will be, just like this one... We beat no one, but LSU in a what 3rd game in three days, so what, that isn't an accomplishment, that is they ran out of gas, in the only time you are ever going to be in that situation. We didn't deserve a number 4 seed, that was purely to sell tickets. Insulting we were on paper a top 4 team, but Kellie was on that paper with her incompetent, second tier staff. Kellie please enter the transfer portal! Smart move young Lady, find a coach, and a staff that knows how to coach the only freshman on the team. I predict Darby and Sara transfer after next season.
