Is this true? Justine transferring

I speak 4 anguages, including French. When i saw that Rocky Top written in French, I'm thinking maybe a recruit from French area

Transferring may hurt her, and don't blame Kellie. She tried her best to play everyone, but Justine didn't perform. She needs patience.
Who else would you blame?, that is what coaches are for to develop the young players, and I disagree she never gave her a decent chance. I think we are all avoiding the obvious, she is not an SEC Coach.

This will make it even harder for Kellie to recruit high school kids.

Justine is a better player with a higher ceiling than some who got a lot more minutes this year while producing nothing. She needed playing time, and there was no downside to giving it to her given what we were getting at her position in a lot of games.

Kellie mishandled that situation badly. Her whole substitution and playing time scheme cost us a lot of games and now it cost us her only blue chip recruit.
I totally agree

Trust what you see and not what is spinned here. It’s been pretty obvious the longer it goes. And it’s not 100% on her, the staff overall is in over their head.

Justine isn't quick enough to guard on the perimeter in a top P-5 league, nor physical enough to guard in the post or rebound. We have an all world 3/4 in Rickea, and we have a lot of 4's in Jillian, Sarah, ect, ahead of her. Her choice is to either play backup this season here to evolve into a stretch four or leave to play somewhere where they don't have these logjams. Her leaving may be a bad look for us, but it's also a bad look for her as her skills prevented her from cracking our lineup for two years.
If that's the case, why did Darby ever see the floor, she could not guard me, and I am old

I'm so glad that you keep up with Lady Vols basketball. She was a true Freshman and was never given a chance. It's time to stop living in a fantasy world thinking she can coach in the SEC. She had one miracle this year against a good team (LSU) and never beat another ranked team, and can't recruit as everyone can see

you people in this forum are miserable. I promise if she ends up transferring it won’t kill our program. I personally believe she was recruited over and we will hear about a good recruit soon (seems promising after sam’s tweet) . She’s raw talent and tbh could never reach it. I hope she does, she’s a sweet girl.
No I think that that is being taken care of slowly but surely

Darby is a great shooter but not only that, she has one of the quickest releases I e ever seen, so she can get her shot off very easily. Justine needs time to set to get her shot off and needs space that she can create on her own.

Yes, she just took her team to a third place SEC regular season finish (behind only the two most recent national champions) and to the finals of the SEC tournament because she "can't coach in the SEC."

Brilliant observation.

One can only feel extremely sorry for all those other loser schools saddled with the likes of Schaeffer, Curry, Abe, Yo, etc. Obviously, only two SEC coaches are competent enough to coach in the league. Of course, they seem to get the best of all the other leagues, too, so all those coaches don't know what they're doing, either.

It's enough to drive fans to pickleball.

A rather ridiculous comment given that we've come in 3rd in the SEC the last two years, I believe. I'm far from a Harper fanboy, but she's been a college coach for, what, around 20 years. She and the staff want to win. If they thought Pissott would have helped us win this past year, they would have played her. When student-athletes don't play, there are usually good reasons why. To be sure, coaches can make bad personnel decisions--I've see it with UT coaches, for sure--but I'm not sure this is one such case, based on what I've seen.

Lady Vols are just another B program. The good days are gone. Another 10 loss season is coming next year unless a miracle happens. We need a coach bottom line. How do you not develop and play a high school McDonalds all american player? Sad she is leaving but probably in her best interest.
Pissot's prospects for improvement are somewhat limited. She just isn't much of an athlete. I don't like KJH either, and agree that her recruitment of high school talent has been abysmal.... but I have a hard time blaming her for the lack of development from Justine Pissot. I don't think there is as much of an upside there to work with as we once thought. It was a poor evaluation.

Maybe my eyes lied to me, but I just didn't see anything about her that said, "Big Time". Her accolades spoke highly of her, but we've had McDonald All Americans here before. Did she actually look the part? Honestly, not to me.

You don't become a great actor doing bit-parts and you don't hone your skills sitting on the pine, only getting into game as an also ran.

I saw the Justine play before she got here. SHe never got a chance to hit her groove. Just watch her bloom,,,sigh,,,toldja

When I watched her high school highlights I wasn’t really impressed either,
