SCOTUS is pretty much forced to weigh in one way or the other. they either have to overturn the ruling and allow him on the ballot everywhere, or if they agree with Colorado they will have to declare him ineligible everywhere. Don’t really see much room for gray area here.
I don’t really see how he can be denied ballot access if he hasn’t been convicted of anything. Obviously he’s a huge piece of **** and January 6th was his fault, but I can’t see how that can be used to deny him access to the ballot.
I'm completely blown away by the number of people who are no longer for due process....I can't wait till it happens to them...I hope several here have it happen first
The Supreme Court will likely hold that the clause at issue does not apply to POTUS. Hopefully they emphasize that they do not need to reach, and are not commenting on, whether Trump.actually did engage in unlawful behavior.
