The GOP went all in on states rights to overturn Roe. And that's what happened.

And then THE MOMENT that states started enacting abortion right protections the GOP called out "We need a federal rule!"

Honestly, do you expect to make any headway with anyone with this line? Hard to find any prominent (by public perception) politician who hasn't reversed course as the winds shifted. On the Dem side: Kerry, Biden, Clinton(s), Obama, Harris, just to name a few. Some even openly and boast about it, such as Harry Reid when confronted about lying about Mitt Romney in 2012 POTUS race: "Well, he didn't get elected, did he?". And how about that "nuclear option," folks?

We could go on and on naming shameless hypocrites across the political spectrum. Focus solely upon Trump's weak standards as though he is unique in this regard doesn't solve anything.
