Is UT or Florida the 2nd Best SEC Program?

All - time, I would say U.T. However; Florida has two national championships in men's basketball. They have (3) Heisman trophies and (4) national championships in football.

U.T. has no Heisman trophies, no national championships in mens basketball. However; we have 8 national championships in women's basketball....

Lose to the almost the whole SEC or Lose to a big east team

Hmmmm...... Tough choice, both embarrassing.

So would you rather have a year like last year where we don't make a bowl or like 97 where we had a great year but got smoked in the Orange bowl? Give me 97 all day every day.

And doing pretty good nationally.

All time national titles recognized by the SEC:
LSU - 46
R-Kansas -31
Florida - 29
Georgia - 28
Alabama - 19
Tennessee - 18
Auburn - 17
Kentucky - 9
South Carolina - 3
(4) - 1

Can we have a shout out and a collective SEC hand-wringing for Miss St.? They get this baseball thing in Omaha, it will be NC #1. They are currently the only SEC team without national credentials.
Honestly do any of us actually give a damn, about anything outside of football, I love our basketball team but I'd sacrifice just about all of there wins and progress to beat bama it Florida this year.

Majors was too..IMO Hornung winning over Majors, on a 2-8 Irish team, was a joke...

For the Vol history buffs we can add George Cafego to the list while we are at it.

Manning was the only snub in my lifetime - and I have never paid a bit of attention to the award since.

Had those three gone to ND, Michigan or another "pet" school they would have won in a romp!

GBO!
