A brief history that I ran into today. Very interesting and very relevant on the political stage today.

The ideology is very problematic in most interpretations. Thankfully the majority of Muslims are not radical extremists and pose no threat to us, especially the ones that live in our country.

I'm sure some scared pussy will tell me how wrong I am and that they are all terrorists or terrorist supporters.

Former CIA should know something, wouldn't you think?

While I agree most aren’t radical in the sense that they want to kill us all, a lot of their attitudes are still troubling.

Not everyone that condemns the teaching of islam is a scared pussy, percy. I can guarantee you that. I dont carry a gun, generally lock my doors other than at bedtime, and live in fear of only God. In what world does one need fear to call a religion of hate and violence what it is? The truth is there are no peaceful verses in the quran telling them to love their neighbors. None. Thats New Testament Jesus teachings, and the quran contains most of the old Testament, and then a bunch of fiction telling them to lie, subvert, outbreed and conquer...to murder and kill. Read the book.

To lecture others about a book you havent read is the same ignorant bullcrap Clearwater tried in the other thread. Knowledge is power. If you can read that book and come away with a view that is different from mine, then i welcome the debate . Intellectual laziness is just that. Lazy.

I have no love for terrorist sympathizers. Like I said, thankfully I don't think that is the majority of Muslims, particularly in this country, so I'm not worried about it on a daily basis. I'll leave that to to religious folks who think they are in some sort of holy war.. not unlike the radical Muslims themselves.

78% of British Muslims wanted to prosecute a cartoonist another 27% considered themselves sympathetic to the people who killed the cartoonist and 11 others.

I imagine US and British Muslims hold very similar views

Trump wants to go after news agencies because they say mean things about him. Both are stupid.

I don't disagree that those are concerning numbers. They are. But media suppression isn't exactly violent terrorism.. We have enough of our own American retards looking to shut down free speech. I'm curious as to what your endgame here is though. What is the conclusion you are looking for us to reach?

Enforcing libel and slander laws isn’t something I find stupid. Journalism in this country seems to be going downhill fast.

I don’t consider anything he has said to be suppression of the media.

End game? Just to be honest. Liberals tend to back aware from honest when it comes to Islam. Cenk v Sam Harris is a great example

I guess what I'm saying is, what is your solution to the Muslim problem as it relates to America? I believe you think it is a bigger issue than I do, so I imagine you have given some thought to corrective action.

I think a big part of the solution is what we are doing now. Being honest and open about the true issues with Islam and not sweeping them under the rug like I feel many on the left desire.

Once the issues are in the open, I feel it helps prevent future generations from being as radical by exposing them to the hypocrisy of their ancestors. If we tell them there’s nothing wrong with their ancestors views and all religions are equal, I fear the cycle will continue.

So basically I’m taking the “sunshine is the best disinfectant” approach

I do not disagree that we should be honest and open about religious beliefs. I think the more we can accomplish that, the less religious we become as a people overall (all religions included).

The Saudi/Wahhabi factions funded by the CIA and MI6 are the main problem.
