It truly is crazy to look at a modern map when you've read the history of the area since WW1. So many areas now in Israel that you've read about as areas being taken over in the past. Just a slow, gradual takeover. Wild stuff and there are no winners it seems. Sad all around.

This really shouldn't be too hard to understand; "Palestine" was never a country, and every effort lead by "Palestine" and the Arab League post-1947 to "claim" the land has been an utter failure. To the victor go the spoils, and "Palestine" has never been and will never be victorious.

"Palestine" is free to continue trying, I suppose, but this is getting very old and the consequences need to become far more severe. If you're going to try and claim someone else's territory, be prepared to face utter evisceration.

That's easy. Politicians' power comes from how they choose to spend other people's money. They MUST spend more money to continue to gain in power.

Here's an easy illustration to prove the point: If you increase a budgeted item by a lower percentage than it has been increased in the past, the politician describes that as a budget cut. No. It's not. It's just a smaller budget increase. A budget cut is when the new budgeted amount is 90% of the prior year amount.

The Israelis started the conflict. They’ve only been around for ~70 years. All their land was stolen from Palestine
