I don't know if I have all the reasons to that. I think the main point of what I said was true in that area prior to 1948 too (minus the rockets and tunnels part). Look at the development of Tel Aviv up to that point ( early 19th century - 1948). I think that would lead you to some of those answers. That last paragraph is pretty true. What do you think the reason(s) are?
I take no issues with your line of thinking or the way you have presented it. We disagree some…probably not as much as you might think and I’m definitely coming from a biased view.sure, again never said Israel should have taken anything or not responded, no matter how much people in this thread misconstrue what I said. I feel people are twisting my actual words because they can't argue my actual point, and want to deflect to something they can argue.
just pointing out the context and how the step up to include the entire WB, was a disportionate escalation we hadn't seen before from similar attacks. again no comment on the right or wrong of it.
The problem this time is that Israel gave them more freedom than they had ever allowed before while “managing” the situation. And the response to that freedom was an attack. They were supposed to be building infrastructure so they could be more self sufficient. They did the opposite. Can you imagine attacking the people who provide your energy and water when you were supposed to be developing your own.I would have put it down the first time. Israel has been letting the dog bite for decades, and now suddenly want to put it down. ask them what the difference is, they are the ones who changed. I have no problem with them doing it, just saying they are the ones who are different all the sudden.
lets also not pretend like Israel's dog hasn't been biting their neighbors child too.

Honestly my response would have been to turn everything off and leave it off until the Palestinian people brought me the leaders of Hamas, my hostages and/or intelligence on where Hamas was hiding. That’s where the bombs would fall.
Food water and a place to live for anyone with good intelligence.
Have you considered that they haven't really been in charge of their own affairs since 1948 and that their population density is so high because of refugees from 1948? Tel Aviv wouldn't be so nice if they faced the same situation.I don't know if I have all the reasons to that. I SAID. YALL CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, BUT IT SEEMS THERE IS A LINE OF DILEANEATION BY AGE OF POSTER ON WHETHER MORE BLAME IS WITH ISRAEL OR PALESTINIANS.
The first hit on the google search:How much empty land is there in both places?
the exception doesn't disprove the rule.
It was an observation and I may be wrong, but those trending younger than old farts like me seem to be in the Israel/IDF is bad groupl
And yet people are less tolerant of an opposing view. False information is almost to the point that even stories from major news sources can be faked and AI is just getting started. It's losing it's effectiveness. It's easier now for people to get more balanced coverage than the US MSM provides.
