the Gaza war was worse. Hamas attacked with, depending on your source, anywhere from 10k to 20k troops, included at least 1100 MILITARY and 900 CIVILIAN Israeli deaths. I doubt mass rapes, and abductions were lacking there. What? 10/7 marked a clear escalation in Palestinian Terrorism. Mass rape, torture, murder, and abduction of 1,500 people.
It was, literally, the worst day for Jews since WW2.
sure, again never said Israel should have taken anything or not responded, no matter how much people in this thread misconstrue what I said. I feel people are twisting my actual words because they can't argue my actual point, and want to deflect to something they can argue. They asked for war. They got it. They expect help from the Muslim world around them. They didn’t get that.
It’s pretty simple what happened.
If I was prosecuting this response I’d absolutely do things differently but it would have absolutely been the last straw for me as well
I would have put it down the first time. Israel has been letting the dog bite for decades, and now suddenly want to put it down. ask them what the difference is, they are the ones who changed. I have no problem with them doing it, just saying they are the ones who are different all the sudden.I think you are seriously underestimating the 10/7 attack and those prior.
Since you want to go Luther level analogies, how many times are you going to let your neighbors dog bite your children before you put a bullet in it's head and end the threat?
They check size and density and positioning to determine if they are dealing with a combatant....... Again, this doesn't meet the threshold of definitive.
They have very limited capabilities based on a number of factors. Hardly definitive. Some tech exists that is very limited, regardless the statements this former military person made as an authority are problematic. Misleading at best, flat out lies at worst.
That hate helps with execution of terrorist acts (if you hate someone so much it's easier to kill them) but the root of terrorism is politcal.Terrorism comes from the hatred that comes far too easily to the human heart. Someone consumed with hate will find some “cause” to latch onto. Religion, politics, ethnicity, racism, sexuality…. The superficial motivation is immaterial.
Ironically, TRUE religion that focuses on things that cleanse one’s own heart is the only real cure but it so often gets hijacked by the very thing it is fighting against
What would you do differently? They asked for war. They got it. They expect help from the Muslim world around them. They didn’t get that.

How much empty land is there in both places? For reference, that is twice the dimensions of Manhattan with 1M less people (compared to Manhattan population during the workday). They are not packed like sardines.
Whether IDF is intentionally harming non-coms or Hamas is using as shields, I'll let you guys continue to argue.
The ability to do what exactly? The video states the capabilities and they are very subjective. What are you even arguing about? The video clearly states Xaver 1000 has these capabilities…limited or factors weighed in…it’s still definitive they have the “ability” to do so…which was my point.
Whether they’re using these or not…wasn’t my argument.
That last paragraph is pretty true. What do you think the reason(s) are?Exactly. From my point of view they should just leave the GS and WB and let them have it. I understand that won't happen, and will likely cause them security issues in the future, but that's what I think is their best move going forward.
There is a reason that Israel has progressed since 1948, and the other areas have bought rockets and dug tunnels in that time frame.
Slice at one point acknowledged that Israel used 10/7 as an excuse to accomplish these longstanding goals, but people aren’t always as quick to say thatsure, again never said Israel should have taken anything or not responded, no matter how much people in this thread misconstrue what I said. I feel people are twisting my actual words because they can't argue my actual point, and want to deflect to something they can argue.
just pointing out the context and how the step up to include the entire WB, was a disportionate escalation we hadn't seen before from similar attacks. again no comment on the right or wrong of it.
Let's see what @jp1 has to say.The main reason is Arab/Palestinian/Muslim leaders rely on keeping their people poor and ignorant to stay in power and enriching themselves.
