Israel vs Palestinians

The funniest thing in all this is 3 days ago Israel grabbed land in the West Bank. I get the reasoning but it’s a bad look and they should not have done it. A legitimate concern and the dipsticks would rather clutch pearls.

Awesome

That's not really news. It's more a long established practice. Israel's always grabbing land and they often do it when events draw attention elsewhere. Land theft is their nature.

The investigation concluded 2 weeks ago
Then why are these from 2 days ago? Constantly correcting you is exhausting

The IDF responded to the videos, saying, “The area shown in the video is an active combat zone in Khan Yunis that underwent significant civilian evacuation. Furthermore, IDF troops have experienced many encounters with terrorists in that area, who move throughout the area disguised in civilian clothing, accessing weaponry hidden within civilian infrastructure.”

Regardless, the incident depicted in the video has been transferred for investigation to the General Staff’s Fact Finding and Mechanism, which is an independent body responsible for the examination of exceptional incidents that occur during war.

When posted about the investigation, you made reference to Israel investigating. I assumed the Israeli government or IDF. Your current link says in independent review group.

Actions like this should be investigated and it is good for the investigation to be outside governmental control.

Do you have any thoughts on the first paragraph of your link wrt this incident?

Once it’s cleared by the military it’s turned over to the various departments for confirmation.

Glad you’re not concerned about it.
Making a statement about it before anyone else says anything is an odd way to be the sneaky Jews that have this devious nature.

You’re racism is showing btw.

The "independent review group" is comprised of Israeli military officials and legal experts, so it's still Israel. Don't have confidence that much will come of it but it's certainly not the same as the "lol at them, no-go zone, case closed" attitude Slice is performing here.

Not much other than that it's the same "oh well uhhhhhh Hamas" statement Israel releases every time they get caught doing something terrible

Yeah, it makes sense the review would be handled by Israelis but I thought it was a government or military review. You didn't imply that, I simply inferred it.

I wonder if reviews are published and then tracked to contrast the agreement/disagreement with the military reviews. Any ideas?

Oh it's a concern. That's one of the ways that Israel's sabotaging chances for long term peace for themselves and the Palestinians.
You really are a hoot with that racism comment. I'm not the one who thinks 'my people' are entitled to kill and steal with impunity.

This might be the reason.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad is calling for Ramadan to be a “month of terror” and seeks to escalate attacks in the West Bank and Gaza. In a recent speech, Abu Hamza, the spokesman for PIJ’s Al-Quds Brigades, said he wants Arab countries in the region and pro-Iranian groups to continue to “unify” various arenas and fronts against Israel.

This is SOP for all kills in a no go zone?
I can’t speak to Israel anymore than what I’ve read.
It appears that there is one guy making decisions on shoot or don’t shoot for a group of Drone pilots. Hence the go/no go approach. The 23 cases I referenced earlier were from one group and the decision maker was referenced several times by his/her rank. I do know they review every drone engagement.
