Believe me, if the IDF was actively TRYING to create civilian causalities, you would know it. We would be talking hundreds of thousands of dead if not more.
For urban warfare, the numbers (even the obviously inflated Hamas estimates) are actually quite low.
Israel could end this war decisively in a single afternoon if they really didn’t care about protecting civilians

I've not been a party to what led up to this but recent peace talks were balked on.... In part because Hamas felt like they were winning the PR war and could hold out longer. And maybe get what they really want..... To bring about the destruction of Israel.


HAMAS exists solely to oppose Israel. It does not exist to advance and assist the Palestinian people to any other end. At least that's the way it appears. The Palestinian people chose this out of desperation IMO. They truly believe they can/will one day root Israel out and restore Palestinian rule. They believed HAMAS would serve them to that end.

IMO Israel knows this and has decided no peace can exist with the Palestinian people until HAMAS is rooted out.

I'm not saying what Israel is doing is right or wrong..... Just giving you my opinion of what they are doing and why.
