Israel vs Palestinians

My best friend is a retired New Yorker. He built a massive tiki bar in his backyard that he didn't get HOA approval for. So they scheduled this meeting at his house to discuss it. I came over bc I was on good terms with the HOA president. So the president and treasurer come over. We open a few beers and are talking about this problem. My friend says "hang on a sec fellas." Pulls an envelope out and puts it down on the bar. The president asks "what's that." My friend said "well if you look inside I think it's the request to build this thing, and your approval, that you all misplaced." HOA opened the envelope said yea I think we found them. Sorry for the confusion. Finished our beers and they left. I asked Mike what was in the envelope he said $2 grand.
Did he run a sanitation company by chance? Maybe a small Mom & Pop Italian butcher shop?

You seem to enjoy playing games like this, or at least seem to be involved every time it happens
I’ll be in New York in about 5 hours.
Thinking about a Yankees game tomorrow night. Might fish instead. Red will be at the game either way.

you going to the game?

They're an ethnic group. They're not Jordanian, not Lebanese, not Egyptian, etc.; they're Palestinian. They're Christian and Muslim so yeah religion probably wouldn't apply.
Actions 1, 2, and 3 look to apply. Let's see what the ICJ says.
How can the “destruction of an ethic people(s)” be met when millions of the ethnic group live (un-targeted for destruction) in the attacking country?

One person could constitute “in part”.

6 Somali pirates smoked by the US Navy could be a destruction of the Somali people “in part”.
Yes, it's pretty broad. I suppose those who wrote and approved it wanted some wiggle room to fit future agendas.

So to be clear, we already know that Israel had supported Hamas... now we this footage of a former Mossad chief admitting they have supported Al Nusra/Al Qaeda. But not Hezbollah. LOL... basically proving everything I've been saying. And by proxy, if Israel is/was supporting Hamas and Al Qaeda, then that means the US was supporting them.

Oh, they should bomb Hamas leaders when they LEAVE their hideouts and are away from civilians. I guess the IDF just needs to wait until they drive to the office, go to the shopping mall, play a couple of rounds of golf, go for their afternoon walk on the beach.
Sometimes I really worry about some of the people around here.
The point, which you chose to ignore, is that apparently the hamas operatives don't spend all their time holed up hiding behind their families and other civilians. As reported, they go out and about doing hamas stuff, and then come back home, and it's when they're back home with their families that the IDF bombs them all. It sure seems like the most moral and humane military on earth, and an extremely capable one, could manage to attack them when they're not in such close proximity to civilians. That is if they wanted to. If they can track them so well they can certainly better limit collateral damage.
You've written about being all in for Jesus and following scripture. Is there anything in scripture that abides mocking and making excuses for loss of innocent life?

This isn't it brother. We disagree on this topic and there's not much worth to argue about but there are definitely Palestinian people. Some of them are my best friends.
I too have many Jewish friends. The nation of Israel doesn’t make them a people. It’s our genetics that defines us and them as a people. And while we disagree, if we were fishing together I don’t think we’d be as far apart as you think. I think the nation of Israel is wrong in how they’re handling this war. I think the vast majority of “Palestinians” hate Hebrews and not just the nation of Israel. There’s a lot of wrong on both sides here. I think we should let them settle it themselves and we definitely should not be paying for any of it. Not the war. Not humanitarian aid. Not the rebuild. Nothing.

But again, I absolutely respect your opinion. If you weren’t so much better at fishing than myself I might tell you a different story. Lol

Incredibly vague. Seems like it was written to fit anything they felt they needed to fit it to.

What’s going on certainly is not a Genocide.

But I will say this: If by hook or by crook, the Israelis empty Gaza - that will certainly look like something else.

You’re saying IDF passes up strikes on Hamas out on the battlefield, preferring to wait until they’re in their house slippers?
