Not trying to be a jerk but where would he go? Does anyone actually believe he would be drafted? He could hit the portal but why?

Here you go, just the prescription you need, dear patient, exactly what you need.

He's the best tackling DB on the team and also the guy is the signal caller. There isn't a better DB on the team so to single him out when the whole secondary played bad is ridiculous. As I've said before, the scheme sucks and position coaching might not be much better.
This really isnt saying much......and his coverage skills really need help!

Him coming back, his commitment to the team and university are commendable. I can give the young man some credit for that, especially in today's, I'll take my ball and go home (Transfer Portal) mentality. Banks is the Safeties Coach, and our safety play is just bad, they are out of position, take horrible angles to the ball and didn't always tackle well. The issue may be talent, and some may be coaching but clearly there is a problem there. So maybe he will improve or at least help mentor the young guys what to do on the field and what not to do off the field.

I’m glad he’s back, but I think putting him at LB should at least be considered. If he added 10-15 lbs to get to 215-220 ish he could be a real asset in coverage underneath. He’s already a good tackler, but our speed on the back end is really lacking . We need to get some speed in the secondary .

Speed doesn't matter if you're going the wrong direction. We need smart football players just as much as we need fast ones.
