CJH is supposed to be some offensive genius…. Well he isn’t and never has been..
Hear me out.
I’ve gone back and studied all of his 5 years coaching offense in the SEC(1 game shy) and the results are glaring. The man feast on bad teams, runs up stats and routinely gets embarrassed by the good defenses.
Here are the results when you look at his pts per game against OOC opponents(not counting bowls) vs his pts per games vs 9 win SEC teams…
CJH offenses average 44 pts a game against the lesser SEC teams and OOC opponents.
CJH offenses average 23 pts a game against 9 win SEC teams. (Keep in mind that incudes 52(bama), 45 (Kentucky) and 40(LsU) so without those 3 that’s awful.
So let’s face reality. No QB named Nico is going to make this offensive scheme better. Heck we played one good defense a year ago and were embarrassed with a a very good QB in hooker.
We have a coach that puts up big numbers against bad teams and gets his fat ass whipped against good ones. Always has and always will!
It made no sense to you! Because it was over your head! The bottom line is your post made no sense. The timeline of Bruin's post and your Hooker comment made no sense unless you expected someone reading your post to understand you had changed the timeline.

I’m sorry I didn’t simplify it down for you Mr Pro!!
By the way, how do you get to be a Pro?
Don’t censor OP. I thought by now we’d learned. Free speech can be beautiful and can be ugly. But we must allow free speech.@Freak please just lock down the entire forum. The stupidity tonight is just mind boggling.
Would you be happy with 8-4 and an occasional 10-2 season but not win championships? It's amazing how many UT fans want to go through another coaching change and rebuild.
I'll take an 8-4 season over going thru that BS again
Ole Miss has the better/ more seasoned QB in their respective schemes right now. Plus I think Heupel has been trying to discretely protect the investment this year in light of his development/ struggles and the disappointing performance of our tackles this year. Of course the OM scheme has been more effective. Better O line and their version of Hendon Hooker behind center. They have talent and experience, right now we just have talent and we need more of both!I watched the Ole Miss/Georgia game and the Tenn/Georgia game. Tell me which team had the better offensive scheme. Ole Miss or Tenn. Also tell me which team had the better defensive scheme. Ole Miss or Tenn. Not trying to be delusional just realistic.
Majors couldn’t beat Alabama. Fulmer couldn’t beat Florida. No coach can stay at UT long term if there is a program he cannot beat. Heupel has yet to come close to beating a Kirby led UGA team. The clock is ticking on him getting it done. He took a superior UT team on both sides of the ball to UGA and lost due to coachng IMO.
Ole Miss runs 90% of the same stuff we doOle Miss has the better/ more seasoned QB in their respective schemes right now. I think the NFL draft is going to strongly disagree with you on UT being the superior team.No coach can stay at UT long term if there is a program he cannot beat. What leads you to think 23 points per game against "9 win SEC teams" is poor? How does it compare to other coaches/teams? What you posted doesn't tell us muchCJH is supposed to be some offensive genius…. Well he isn’t and never has been..

That's about as negative as you can get. The way I see it is that he is beating the teams he is suppose to beat. That's the mark of a good coach. He is also beating teams that he is NOT suppose to beat. That's also a mark of a good coach. Our talent level over the last few years has been vastly upgraded and is still improving. That's a mark of a good coach. Our yearly win totals are also on the rise. That's a mark of a good coach. The number of NFL prospects out of Tennessee is sky rocketing. That's a mark of a good coach.CJH is supposed to be some offensive genius…. Well he isn’t and never has been..
