Omar Bradley was the epitome of the soldiers general, Colin Powel is exactly the opposite, that doofus that run our Balkan campaign is the only worse example I can thik of, can't remember his name and I hope I never do.

You're talking about a member of the most monolithic voting group in the nation. To paraphrase Edwin Edwards, the only way Obama doesn't get 95% of the black vote is if he's caught in bed with a dead girl or live boy.

And if he is, he gets 94%.

The Shame of Colin Powell | RedState

This past weekend retired general and former Secretary of State Colin Powell was presented with the golden opportunity to right a grave injustice he inflicted upon colleagues, upon the man to whom he owed his loyalty, and upon his nation.

He not only declined to do so, he dismissed the notion that he had anything to do with the wrong.

All Colin Powell had to do to stop the budding scandal is stand up and tell the truth. Whether in private to his boss, President George Bush, or in public is immaterial.

Having said that, he owed a debt of loyalty to the President who appointed him and to the nation. He also owned common courtesy to a fellow human being, Scooter Libby, whose career and reputation he helped destroy to settle some perceived slight. Last Sunday, he owed us all the candor he failed to deliver back in 2003.

He didn’t and in the process has proven himself to be a petty and inconsequential man.

As I said, I wouldn't vote for the man to be dogcatcher.

And I don't care how many black votes he could or couldn't garner.

If Herman Cain would have been the republican't nominee would he have gotten 95% of the black vote?

What of Clarence Thomas?? The dhimmirat commies still describe him as an uncle Tom etc and every other derogatory term they can think of.

Going back, it was the democrat crossover Ronald Reagan who gave Powel his big leg up, just like he gave the sorriest Attorney General in American history, Eric Holder his first big appointment, makes me glad I never voted for Reagan in either of his campaigns, and don't make the mistake to think that I would ever vote for a G damned democrat under any cirucumstances.
