I wonder if it would be fair to say that all of these people in love with Obama are in love with him for the wrong reasons. I mean, who doesn't want to see an African American or some other minority group take the highest office in the land.

That being said, are they looking past Obama's qualifications and solely looking at his skin color as their primary influence for supporting him?

I agree. It would be a great statement on how far this country has come. He just has the wrong political leanings.

Pretty much:

1.) His political spectrum

2.) His arrogance kills me!

that's ok, OE, because we know that there are already plans being drawn up for re-education camps for Conservatives and republicans should Obama become POTUS.

We're all going to be reprogrammed into good proletariat drones, working for the collective good.

Mission accomplished

You are voting for him because:

1.) He is black

2.) He is from Illinois

3.) He still has his hair color

4.) He can speak with a telepromter ( Any thing else he is on par with Bush)

5.) He acts like a tv evangelist

Does that sum it up?

I was old enough, but there was something about Perot that bothered me. It could have been his big ears, or maybe it was that senile old Admiral he chose for his VP.

Phil Hartman playing him on SNL was hilarious.

You're not allowed to say that.

Sure you are. I think there's a difference btwn asking the question and wondering what influence race is having and making a declaration like G. Ferraro did - that it's the only reason he's won the support he has thus far.
