I agree. It would be a great statement on how far this country has come. He just has the wrong political leanings.

I was old enough, but there was something about Perot that bothered me. It could have been his big ears, or maybe it was that senile old Admiral he chose for his VP.

Sure you are. I think there's a difference btwn asking the question and wondering what influence race is having and making a declaration like G. Ferraro did - that it's the only reason he's won the support he has thus far.
