It is stuff like this that makes you want to smack Obama!

Sure you are. I think there's a difference btwn asking the question and wondering what influence race is having and making a declaration like G. Ferraro did - that it's the only reason he's won the support he has thus far.
That's wasn't a shot at you, there are many out there (including the media) who feel that way.

I ahve a problem with anyone voting ismply because of skin color.

a white Freshman senator spouting neo-socialism wouldn't have stood a chance against the Clinton machine. The left in America is consumed with white guilt and Obama is their redemption.

I know it wasn't a shot at me.

I feel the same way about voting on skin color alone (even though I want him to win) and hope you feel the same way about people who would vote against him simply b/c of skin color.

I do, it's wrong either way. I have a feeling he;s getting more votes for rather than against because of it, but there's really no way to prove it.

I got my YMCA membership back and I don't go to the gym after work any more.

I don't get to listen or call in any more.

That is the truth! We don't really know. In fact, we don't really know exactly why we vote for a person or not.

I'm being serious. We try to be rational about it and say it's b/c of x,y,z policies, etc. But there are a whole host of reasons that go beyond our comprehension. Which is why we will almost always vote for someone who passes the gut check.

Ok, you need to return the guru favor. How come I will not vote for McCain?

I admire his service and think on a personal level he is a great man.

i'm not calling that bs, but you or I don't know that. i actually think this primary election may have shown there were quite a few non-GOPers who didn't really want to vote for HRC from the get-go and were looking for an alternative candidate they could rally around.

That's at least my experience.

The democratic party wants to rid itself of the Clintons.

Obama seized his opportunity big time!

Did she say only reason?
