Just look how stacked we are on the roster and who is coming back for Florida.

I truly believe we have better talent then last year and we have a better shot then last year.

Just look how ridiculous our roster is, yea a young team but with so much super talent its unfair.

UK has to be in there. It's a 3 horse race for the SEC, and I'm not sure who I would choose as the favorite.

Yeah, I wouldn't count UK out just yet. Still, I like our chances. Can't wait to see the new class in action. Tobias should have an immediate impact(I hope).

Plus, I think Williams is going to have a really big year. I'm looking for marked improvement all around.

I agree with OP, I think we are truely better off talent wise (espcially at reciever) than last year. Depth is an issue, but mark it down...we will beat KY, Vandy, USCjr, and Georgia. We will see how Florida plays without Tebag and since its in Knoxville and all the animosity that has been built up from the last 4 years of losing to them..I give us a good chance to win.

I would tend to agree with you but i truly believe goins/bone can shut down knight because of Senior experience

The only way UK makes it there is because of Brandon Knight and Jones, mostly Knight.

We have Experience on them

The experience from the elite 8 this past year will pay huge dividends. We have many "experienced" players now and this year should give them more experience in winning big games. When this team is focused, we can beat anyone. I can see something like 26-5 this year with a run to the final four.:dance2:

why don't you guys give reasons for disagreeing?

Well I was kind of being sarcastic. I do believe we will be good. I just am always a little weary of what to expect with our guys until I see the product on the court against respectable opposition. My apologies for no explanation.

My bad guys, guess I should have paid attention that is was a basketball thread. I think we have a great chance to win the SEC. Brian Williams has to dominate the interior and Scotty Hopson needs to stop looking lost on the court at times. I think Tobias will make an immediate impact and Melvin is clutch and has great toughness. Need a few more bench players to step up (Woolridge, Tatum and the freshman).

Yeah, it will have nothing to do with the projected top 3 lottery pick on the post.

While UT does have a slight experience advantage, its still not as great as you promote it to be. Liggins/Miller are back. The experience that UT DOES have coming back is not enough to carry you to a SEC title. Both teams are going to be throwing a bunch of freshmen around a few experienced role players and hoping for the best.

Optimism is awesome, and I like it. Just set the kool-aid down for a minute.
