Congrats to the yanks......for ruining baseball. Lets go spend 400+ million and counting, plus a new ball park. I hope these players bust, and they are sitting at home in October. It sickens me to know people cannot afford to put food on the table, but yet the yanks can spend this much money on 4 players, with a possibility of getting Manny.
I can't see them getting Manny when the outfield is already crowded (Nady, Damon, Swisher, Matsui, Cabrera, Gardner). Rumor is they will try to trade away at least one of the ones already there just to clear the logjam.

I asked this question in another thread, but who here is afraid of that outfield? They have one good defensive player, one DH, a couple of old guys, a guy who will never fit in under the bright lights of NYC and a guy they absolutely never should have picked up.
They're hoping Nady can keep it up, that Matsui can still hit from the DH spot, that Damon can lead off for one more year, that Melky can maybe get his act together, and maybe Gardner can blow up before Austin Jackson gets up.
Defensively, they aren't game changers but the pitching should mask that pretty well.
