Clubhouse chemistry has never exactly been one of the top concerns of the boys in pinstripes.
But it's a risk-free move if you start him out in Scranton, so why not? I don't see it, though: Ponson was never even a good pitcher even when he was "good." If he helps the Yankees out much down the stretch, I'll be shocked.
