ITS TIME TO GET POSITIVE

Volbeef88, I like this Foster kid.  Sometimes he gets no yardage.  Sometimes he makes a 10 , 25, or even 40 (ND) yard run.  Sometimes he makes nothing into a little something.  By the end of a game I'm thinking, "Wow, he ran for over 125 yards."  You know, the kind of yardage that creeps up and goes unnoticed?  Maybe when Hardesty gets healthy, and Coker gets ready, with some good coaching, we could have another trio similar to Stewart, Hayden and Garner.

Alot of people don't realize that recruiting classes make their impact a couple of years into their careers.  So if we get the right coaches, we could go back to being the real "Tennessee."  And future recruits will say, "Ah, that was just a bad year for Tennessee.  They have these great new coaches now.  I want to run through that T."

Of course, that's my dream.

They will and do now. Keep the faith bro.

It would be nice to have our new OC in place to coach the bowl game. I think we would travel well for that game if they bring him on board in time. Fans would fill the place just to see what the new OC would bring.

TBALL we will travel well. I think we will be in Nashville and I will be there.

OK we all know this season has not been what any of us wanted. But we still have a shot at a bowl and I for one am sick of all the negative talk. I think we need to keep that in mind and start a positive trend here and see where it goes.

So I say GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on VOL fans jump on board with me and lets root our boys to a bowl game and a bowl win!  :superman:

Rick Clausen has faced Vanderbilt and Kentucky before. He was 19-of-30 for 189 yards and 2 TDs against Vandy as the Vols racked up 425 yards of offense and scored 38 points. And he was 26-of-41 for 349 yards and 2 TDs against Kentucky as the Vols rung up a season high 606 yards of total offense (highest since 1997) and scored 37 points. The Vols rushed for over 200+ yards in both contests.

But it probably won't be Clausen

There is not reasoning with emotional fair weather fans. Go ahead and feel better about booing our team and coaches and talk bad about them. Maybe you should call DR. Phil.

But for me it is:

GO VOLS

Look man, I am a VOL all the way. There is more to me being a VOL fan than just us winning. It is very easy to be a fan and be positive when things are good. I have seen us become a national power. I travel all over the country and talk to fans from most states. They think this is just an off year for us. So do I. I hear more positive comments from other fans than not (excluding bammer, UGA and UF). He has taken us to the promise land and I think he will again. If you want to jump ship then go! But like I said baby I am all vol all the time all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have been a UT fan a very long time, i will never root for anybody else. Theres nothing wrong with criticizing or being negative, it doesnt mean that anybodys jumping ship. U gotta believe some major changes got to be made in the coaching staff on the hill and just not OCs

Experience has shown me (by virtue of a national championship and 2 SEC Champs) that CPF can get us there. I have faith in him.

What if next year is the same or worse and the year after. What if we go 0-!! will you still not be critical. I guess some of us FANS are not willing to see the program deteriorate further!!!

U know Beef we have had our issues quite a while. U are a big fulmer supporter and i am not. I thing he has to do a lot of changing to be successfull again. His discipline, teaching and motivating players must improve substantially. Like most people i think he should retire now, but i know he wont. Maybe he should look at what Paterno did, and turn over his offense to someone who knows more than him

OK then what? Fire him now? Who in the hell would come to a school that fired one of the MOST successful coaches in the nation because of a bad year.

If things don't turn then yea, changes need to be made. But I think, no I know he has EARNED the right to be here. And I will back him and our team and hope they win EVERY game and I will root them on all the way.

I am a VOL fan and yes a CPF fan because he HAS WON A BUNCH. How many coaches have taken a team to a national title? He is in an elite league and I will not forget that. I remember the battle years.
Also it don't matter to some. I remember when Coach Majors was at UT (now many love him) and how fans called for his head. Then Cut was our OC and people hated his play calling but while RS was OC peole wanted Cut back. Now RS is gone, some have come to his defense and are hoping we don't get Cut! It is just like the old question "who is the fans favorite player? the answer is almost always the 2nd string qb".
I still say we win out and go to a bowl. If for some reason we don't then I will still wear my BIG ORANGE with pride and hope like hell that we getter turned back next year and I think we will.
