Its time to think about Diego Pavia

Pavia is their leading rusher accounting for 43% of their rushing yardage. Contain him and get him to the ground like Oklahoma did with Milroe last night and the Vandy offense will be about as productive as Bama’s was last night. He’s completing 60% of his passes with 16 TDs to only 3 interceptions but I’m willing to put our corners in tight man coverage to give the front seven more time to get to him…may give up some big pass plays but overall I think we can make him very uncomfortable and scrambling for his life. We just need to not lose containment.
I think their TE is their best receiver. We are going to have to make some adjustments to handle him better than we have other TEs in recent weeks.

You're right. I expect a couple hundred more Vandy fans to be there Saturday than there normally are.
After they beat bama, Texas had more fans than Vanderbilt or it looked like more Orange in the stands and the announcer said Texas traveled well (long trek) looking at least 50/50 per fans.
Just more to do in Nashville besides college football and they have got a eclectic population. I think Nashville is the biggest SEC city size and population wise.

Either Nashville or Austin...

If there is one thing UT has experience with this season, it's dealing with mobile quarterbacks. No surprises to be had with one more.

Early in the season Pavia skill set was able to sneak up on some folks. Now later a lot of film and tendencies are available to game plan for him and the Vandy offence so there will be no excuse for not taking care of business.

I'm sure that factors in, but it has more to do with Vandy does not support their football team. They never have.
